mujhey itna addazah naheen, main ne to ammi se he pooch pooch ker pehli baar banaya. ammi keh rahi hain nichora to hota he hai, sirf zayeqah main ferq pare ga.

I made mooli parantha following ur recipe and came out really good. It was very tasty. Earlier I used to make by mixing in the raw mooli to the atta. This is a much better way. Thanks for the recipe. Do you make spinach parantha the same way or any different?
love your recipe, but love your voice and adherence to your culture more than that..i am sick of watching women present indian/pakistani dishes in a phirangi tone, they look so stupid and phony and it turns me off (for example, see miss hetal and premal..whatever...of "show me the curry" channel on you tube"), you are a refreshing change..much needed...after all its not only food, its our culture...and we should be proud to represent it....

Baji which brand is your Atta Kneading machine…I use my food processor mixing bowl, but I'd like to have one designed especially for this reason.

I am from Karachi not use to this flavor :) I think you have to develop the taste for these things. Ammi is from Panjap she knows all about Panjab specialties but only the old ones because after she got married she came to Karachi and lived there for more then 40 years. Panjabi khane Ammi se pooch pooch ker bana deti hoon tum logon ke liye! Paratha mujhey pasand nahin per miyan sahib roz usi ka nashta kerte hain :)
Miyan sahib ke aane se pehle bana bunoo ker bench top per saja diya. aate he dekha PARATHA to jaldi se 2-4 niwale kha ga-a :) wo to soch bhi nahin sakte honge ke hamare gher main mooli kabhi aa bhi sakti hai :) phir poocha ye kiya hai to bataya :)
