  • the music is annoying

  • why are you using red locktight on some parts and blue on others is red a stronger type

  • @bwinn10 red is stronger but like he said , on parts that might break use blue, otherwise u wont get them out without stripping them

  • what if you go this then just snaped it all on and went outside without checking anything?

    im a beginner i still use 3chan's

  • @956Joeboy im new and in the same spot im thinking maybe its because things are spinning so fast that any lose parts will come flying and break or hit someone i dont know but i was thinking the same thing

  • Does anyone knows what good parts i could put on my EXI 500 CF if so pls send them to my e-mail at riverajose7334@yahoo.com thanks in advance.

  • Hey tony I just got my EXI 500 Carbon Edition RC Helicopter Kit does this same setup you are using on this 450 could it be used on the exi 500 if not could i get the parts needed for my exi 500 and can u show me how to build it because my exi 500 came with no instruction guide so it's just sitting there looking sad pls help

  • Is this loctite 242?

  • What Tail Servo are you using?

  • @harperadam Its the align ds520 servo

  • Does the music remind anyone else of the NES game solar jetman?

  • Do anyone make airwolf fuselage for the exi pro 450 please let me know thanks

  • WARNING::

You also need to put thread lock on the center bolt of the tail pitch slider. Its not mentioned in this vid, but I had mine unscrew itslef in flight, and you know what happens when you lose control of your tail.

  • Where can I buy this. Please reply. Thx

  • Seems a bad idea to put thread lock on the rods that will go to the servos or the two adjustable rods that go up up to the mixing arm from the swash plate at this point. You are probably going to need to adjust the lengths of these five rods and popping off the ball joint too many times is going to weaken it. Better to back out the screw to the ball or even the screw on the servo horn if you've attached those. Once you've got the swash level, and the main rotors tracking, then locktite them.

  • Just pulled the head off, there wasn't any shim :( Is shimless ok or should I get one?

  • What I see is that you got the main frame set and then disassembled it all to maybe lubricate it ?!? I mean is it really needed? Which kit do you suggest for a beginner like me,so much detail freaks me out!!

  • @PjDhillon It's not Lubricant that he is applying, its a thread-locking glue called loctite. When the rotor blades are spinning it sends ridiculous vibration through the rest of the heli which can cause all the little screws and nuts to loosen over time. You apply loctite to prevent that from happening in mid-flight, resulting in a crashed heli

  • 1 person lost the little shim....

  • a set of Blades comes in the box, it's hidden behind cardboard

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO!

  • dose any one now how to fix slow internet

  • @arandaps buy new internet

  • Great Video tutorial Tony, About to build my fist 450GT Heli too, so onto your nevt Vid

  • This is a great video. It contains very useful information.

    Thanks Tony,

    Bryan

  • what type of loctite is that one? i was looking online but there are like 10 different ones

  • @animedrawer84 to fix screws -> loctite 243

  • Why do they sell it all pre-assembled if I'm required to pull it apart and locktite/lube everything before flying. You could cut the cost dramatically if you just sent me baggies of parts and saved the assembly for me (and it would save me time cause I don't have to pull it apart, too).

  • @malakovich69 that is so true but i think it looks better when it says "100% pre-assembled" i will bring it up with tony to see what he says :)

  • @XHELIBIGT I would prefer having it completely apart too. Having a factory assemble only increases the chance of stripped screws and/or improper assembly. And when it comes built some people might think, it is good to go out of the box when it really is not. I think most people would like it disassembled just like most other kits. But I'll stick with EXI either way because they have awesome quality compared to other clones on the market.

  • Great video and great host. keep this EXI build series going :)

  • @RoboTekno thank you!!!! :) and yeah they are going to keep coming.

  • Thank You!

  • @MrBerndvonfunk for wat lol

  • Any chance in offering a kit? It seems like a kit would let you just assemble it and not have to take apart an already assembled craft.

  • Nice video. I did not disassemble mine and lock tight it. Now you got me worried. The EXI helicopters are great .

  • @jauchiu yeah i highly recommend you doing so i hope my video can be of much help
