Average price of a restored '72 Duster today? $13,000
Average price of a 72 Vega today? $18,000
The reason for the price difference? There are more Dusters in the world than Vegas, even though production numbers were comparable. The Duster was a better car, overall.
@takoma5Wimps? BULLSHIT! You MUST apologize! Try driving a brakeless Vega w/ flickering headlights, passenger window 2-inches short of closing from Philly to Harrisburg in a blizzard after dark. Or try the Admiral Wilson Blvd (Camden) in a day-long downpour on the very day the rust ate thru the fender above the right front wheel well...faster you drive the higher the water would shoot...truck drivers wanted to kill you! LOL. EVERY VEGA that lasted long enough would develop this water spout
And the Duster does not have cast iron pistons running in an aluminum cylinder bore, so your engine will not fail after 10 - 15,000 miles like the Vega would.

The Duster was pretty much bulletproof.

It's either a 1970 or 1971 Duster.....the taillights are a dead giveaway.
