growing up in orange county we used a lot of these styles in our popping and just blended them but we didnt know all the names of the styles. a lot poppers from la had a lot of hard hitting styles sometimes you could tell where someone was from by the way they were popping..

it's crazy that the popping we see now in music videos and clubs are a culmination of all of these different styles.  it's been mashed together, watered down, and fed to the mainstream.
