LOL you put yourself through some pain for this review. I work in construction and in winter the roads in the site become an ice rink. Even with winter steels toes I slip. Picked these up for $10 at wal mart and I'm running down the site. I thought it would be a gimmick but they work great.

@LdyChatterleysPlover On solid ice they didn't do very well. The again I was walking around at nice.
