awesome...though somehow saddening at the same time.
sux he was so drunk, great that whoever he fell on had time to *cough* "explore" his "assets". i love conor oberst, and i would never want to make a joke out of him but come on...how could you resist?
was that security pulling him back on stage, cause if it was and it was my band playin we would have had none of that and half the crowd would be on stage...that is if anyone even showed up ahhaha
i hope to GOD this happens at the show on oct 20 i'm attending, i'm in the second row, i would die to touch him, lol i know that sounds like i'm just a lil dumb girl but in my defense i have been listening to/obessed with conor and bright eyes since i was 14 years old (yea, thats right, 6 years lol) and all i can say is that this music has gotten me through A LOT of horrible times and also, obviously, CONOR OBERST IS AMAZING, no one can possibly compare
im psyched he's gonna play in my hometown (eindhoven, holland) saw him 4 times already, though he never played Haligh, Haligh. conor is a gifted musician, however he's 27 now and that is a tough year for any good musician...
i was reading this article someone wrote... and they asked him to play HALIGH HALIGH and his exact response per the authos was, "Ugh, I hate that song"... so i dont think well be hearing it anytime soon =\
He actually gave away two guitars at different times, but they both got pulled back out of the audience by stagehands.
I wish he would've done more older stuff and sung all of The Calendar Hung Itself, but both opening bands (McCarthy Trenching and Oakley Hall) were great, The Pabst Theater is great (a historically registered theater with modern bands and $7 double whiskey sours) and I really couldn't ask for more.
Hahaha this show was amazing. I'm sure Conor's bruises the next day were brutal, though.

Did they take the guitar back?
that would be rediculous if he just gave away a $2,000 guitar!
