They did it because the TV ratings weren't at what they wanted them to be, they were around the 20's when it came to TV ratings. However, with that being said, they never took into account, Tivo, DVR, ON-Demand, online views, or DVD sales. Which would have put the show in the top 5. They just went by the old Nielsen TV system, which is outdated.

@Elffloy Season 1 was perfect. It kept us guessing wondering, trying to figure out what does "Save the cheerleader, save the world" meant from the very first time. Season 2 was solid also it brought many changes upgraded powers. Season 3 looked like a it was going to be another great season, but it lost it ways. Season 4 brought some new stuff that could of been great, but the damage by season 3 was to great. Now we lost a show that could of been on for maybe 8 seasons, even more. :/

there are a lot of spinoffs they can actually do with the show. i was thinking more of two agents working for the company rounding off deadly specials, for one. way before the events of season 1. probably bennet's and rains' cases. the possibilities are endless. too bad they had to cancel it.

I found it amazing because as you said, I hardly remembered the storyline but now it's hardcored into my mind.

I didn't get bored with it..maybe in season 3 I did..with the carnival and shit...when they were almost being taken away to a facility..that was my favorite..and I love Peter so much..

@TheD3vice you can even look it up, the carnival was in season 5. netflix was stupid and got away with having all 5 seasons by saying they only had four but took season 5 and disguised it as season 4

@icekinga18 The Carnival was still Season 4. Season 1 was Volume 1: Genesis.
Season 2 was was Volume 2: Generations
Season 3 was Volume 3: Villains and Volume 4: Fugitives
Season 4 was Volume 5: Redemption
It isn't just Netflix that says this, NBC does too. Volumes are NOT seasons.

The creator said that he would like to wrap it up in a movie.

Hm.. I waited to the end of this show.. For the long years i spent waiting, i heard all about this show, that it was awesome at first, then things became to a point that was awfull.. Then i started watching the show.. Today i finished the 1st season.. Beautifull.. What's coming next? I don't know, but i'm afraid of this becoming to bad..

I don't really miss heroes.. What I miss is the perfect scenario they gave us from the pilot till the end of the first season. From the second one i've been starting to hate heroes =/

Was the best, but the series producers sadly lost their way with the story, is such a shame, had hoped NBC would at least tie up all the loose ends with a final series or movie even ;((

Heroes season 1 was great, then it just turned into complete crap after that to be honest, it's sad really, to see a series as promising as this fail compared to a series like Prison Break which was equally as good throughout the whole series
