  • Hello MacBhloscaidh, Are you a Gaeilgor yourself?

  • @BRENDANMAHERBOURKE I can be understood by a 'sympathetic' native speaker.

  • @macbhloscaidh

    Oh right.

The reason I ask is because I am trying to network to find a Gaeilgor Actor or two from the North and the narrator on that film had a great voice. Thanks for the reply.

  • @BRENDANMAHERBOURKE Brendan, his name is Brian Mullen and he can be contacted through Radio Ulster in Derry. Yes, he has a great voice and is very nice to work with. Ádh mór.

  • @macbhloscaidh Thanks for that I really appreciate it. :-)

  • That surprises me. Can you not overdub it, or is that too expensive to do? You see it done a lot on Fíorscéal with all those Australian and German documentaries. It's a pity, because it was very well made. I especially loved the music too. Beautiful. Looking forward to the rap documentary. Any news on that, release-wise?

  • Excellent documentary, and a very poignant story. Thanks for posting it! It's funny, but I had just been reading about the Hunterian museum last night in connection with dinosaur fossils. It was one of the first resting places for those giant bones, and now I find out that it was also the last resting place for the bones of a giant. Very serendipitous!

  • @DaithiDublin thanks a million for your comments. I made the original documentary. I thought I might as well put it up online while there is a lot of media interest in Byrne. As it is over half in Irish it is more or less impossible to sell it on to other broadcasters. Best wishes Daithi...
