I have begun to turn a deep yellow color as well, Shoud i really be concerned about either of these things?

word. yup & the way you're doing it IS the 'real' way to do it, as if ppl post vid responses thinking its a good way to promote themselves, they're mistaken.. anyways, didn't mean to come out of nowhere with all of that, but as I mentioned MyOwnStickFigure & thesetwofeet are 2 of our top fans, or more like friends to me, I converse with each of them individually & privately on a regular basis & we're all always sharing all kinds of knowledge—hope it's helpful for you building your channel too

This is really sweet and I agree about video responses. If they are self promoting I find it rude but this one is personal and from the heart. I love it. God blessed you a sweet soul. Actually, what people don't realize is WHO actually benefits from video responses the most, or rather WHICH video benefits the most (an original vid A, or a response vid B?). At first glance, one intuitively thinks it is the response vid Bs which benefit the most, "Hey, I get to post my vid in response to a ShayLoss vid, it is sure to get lots of hits now!" WRONG. Although yes, it will get a handful more hits, it's actually the original vid As that will ALWAYS benefit MORE greatly...

(cont.) Original vid A's ALWAYS benefit the MOST 'cause when we watch a response vid B (like we are right now) then what do we see? Why, a very big/prominent yellow bar running RIGHT ALONG the entire bottom edge of the vid saying:

This is a video response to HEALING

Now, isn't that big yellow bar a lot MORE prominent of an 'ad' for vid A's, than the type of 'ad' that vid Bs get(a small thumbnail pic placed FAR beneath vid As)? Not to mention that vid Bs ALSO have to compete w/ one another! ;-)

So the more vid Bs 'competing' w/ one another as responses to a single vid A, then all the more merrier it is for the single vid A as now every time somebody views any & all of those vid B's, ALL of them contain that much more prominent 'ad' for the vid A—that big yellow bar running along the bottom edge of the vid, which statistics show ppl are MUCH more likely to click on than on ANY vid B responses! YouTube of course designed it like this on purpose. ;-) Have I lost anyone yet, btw?

(cont.) TIP! To help your OWN vids get more views, go to 1 of your vids with a LOW daily view count, click on post a vid response & choose 1 of your OWN vids w/ a HIGH daily view count! (e.g., it might be the first search result for a popular keyword, so many views are coming in every day). So now every time someone stumbles upon watching that popular vid of yours, they're going to see a BIG YELLOW BAR at the base of it advertising the LOW view count vid of yours—which will now begin to go up!

We of course appreciate PERSONAL vid responses like this one, but we appreciate it in just the same way as we appreciate ALL PERSONAL VIDS made just for him, me or us. ;-)
