Just my guess that they probably felt stuck somewhere and going nowhere. If you see other couples who won Blackpool and turned to Pros, they usually moved up, but they had not showed much progress for placing wise after they turned to pros. If Peter and Kristina competed at Blackpool this year, they probably places 6th, which is the same placing they did last year.

Simply awesome. I'm very fond of this couple. I've liked them since I first saw them dance and since have developed my "taste" in dancing alongside them. I'm very happy to see how feminine Melinda has become and how Maurizio is channeling his energy to all the right places. But above all, their dancing looks like it's their dancing. Peter and Kristina are too much by the book for me.
