Hey everybody! I have released my new album 'Progenitor' which is electronic music inspired by great games such as the Final Fantasy series. You can check it out and download it for free on my youtube channel if you're interested!
Very good.. I actually got conviced to start playing final fantasy 7 by my friend but anyways. You timed the music well with the scene and this is very beautiful as well. Good Job :D
the original was much better but I think I know why the poster opted for this song. The original in its entirety will get taken down, there was one about a year ago, but Youtube is in bed with the record and video companies.
I'm looking for people to take part in a university study of Babel and its spectatorship. Please just visit my profile for more info and a link to the survey. Thanks!

I hate episode movies! And this one is particular meaningless and abstruse: Is it not time synchronic or is it just a flaw in the script, that these very American looking North African police squads hunting down terrorist suspects (finding bullets on a desert mountain) and locating the juvenile terrorists, while the wounded American tourist still lingers in a cottage? The melodramatic atmosphere of the movie is hard to bear, it exceeds 21 Grams; luckily Doctor Gonzo is not in this movie again!
Arg, there's a beautiful Shuji (Japanese calligraphy) portrait on the wall by the door when the father enters the apartment, I was hoping to get another glance of it....Does anybody know who the artist is by chance? Its absolutely stunning.
Why did you use Aerith's Theme from FF VII?! I Like the Sample track Bibo No Aozora. Ruins the emotional crescendo with a FF sample. Not cool, too much of a feel good picture when you inserted that FF track!
This final bit is so heartbreaking. Now, a couple of years later after the Jennifer Hudson rush, I feel that either Adriana Barraza or Rinko Kikuchi should have won for their performances here in Babel.
When you are 16 this kind of music means nothing, but when you are older it means many things because of the life you have experienced and the realisation of those who matter and the realisation of your own mortality. But this is not a bad thing, its the best thing you could ever learn.
im only 20, but i think i begin to understand how much this kind of music means. This type of music is the same as Gustavo's The Wing from Brokeback Mountain. Very touching, and quite depressing.
actually im 15 not even 16 and ive felt more heartache then a lot of people in the world experience has nothing to do with it. im not trying to be an ass either life hurts it doesnt suck it hurts but like all wounds it heals in time and eventually with time or with help it heals. O.o woah i got a little poetic there.
Well i am not sure what you equate as being more heartache than a lot of people in the world because heart ache can take many forms and there is different types of heart ache for different stages in life and your belief that you have experienced more than most is called "youth", but in saying this, i am not playing down what has happened to you up until this point, because i am not entirely sure what it is, but experience "does" have something to do with it :)
But try not to see what has happened in the past as the catalyst to what your future is, because otherwise you will just fall into that pit of depressed thoughts because its all you focus on because its all you know. Time goes quick my friend, quicker than you think, so find a better way as you get older and create a happy life even if all around you, you are at the bottom of the barrel.
I concur with licorne021...does anyone remember the name of the BABEL Final scene's song? I've tried to find it with no avail. I guess I'm gonna have to rent it to find out. It's a beautiful tune...and it's not Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence;althoug, that is also another favourite of mine...
It's Bibo No Aozora by Ryuichi Sakamoto. His music is beautiful. Check out Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence to hear one of the best pieces of music ever in my opinion.
Idiot. I wanted to hear the original music.

I'm sorry, but this music definitely ruins the scene. That music is from a video game and putting it with this scene just doesn't fit.

I haven't seen Brokeback Mountain nor have i heard its music, but going by your recommendation i am sure it is quite impressive.
Be careful at your age though if some types of music make you feel a little bit depressed because at 20 it can knock the hell out of you.
