hi oldpueblo, i have a apache too and try to install the ROM(windows mobil 6.5) and it fails. if you can please tell me how to install the ROM properly on mine.

if you have the 6700 dont get the pretend hustler upgrade aku3.5 from verizon its a monopoly move to get people to buy new phones ,,been stuck in bootloader 2.05 been reserching for over a month almost non stop acsept for sleep solutions found on ppcgeeks have all fails super bazar static rtask a , the special ruu to downgrade bootloader to 2.02 even tried 2.05 roms and still get contry id ,,remember to always read aboat upgrades first remember microsoft vista ,,teamhuman2 only ,,on !!,,
I just bought one of these on eBay for $51. I definitely plan to upgrade when it arrives (hopefully I can figure it out). When I officially switch to the xv6700 from my blackberry storm, it'll save me like $30 a month on the data plan that I never use but they forced on me.
Yeah, you can't beat a wifi phone, this one especially. I have a treo and am waiting on this one to get delivered. I had this in the past, and will be upset when you can't get one anymore. I pay per Kb on my treo now and never go on the internet.
