  • awsome truck man

  • SAVE THE AMERICAN METAL!!!!!!!

  • What are the steelie size and tires? I want to run tall and skinny on my 67 chevy truck. I see most running 235/75/15 but I want alil taller and narrow. Thank you

  • I learned to drive a stick shift on a '60 Chevy pickup. LOVE this.

  • @libertas1776 <----Hello libertas1776, Thanks for responding to my "Wahoo Sue" video. I also learned how to drive using a 3-on-the-tree stick shift in my first car - a 1960 Chevy Impala. I love this old truck in the video. It is our ranch truck but I get lots of looks whenever I take it for a spin into town. It has actually been in a pilot for a reality TV show in Texas last year, and numerous events (parades and such). It's going to be in the Christmas parade this year in Montgomery, TX.

  • This song could make a republican Recycle.

  • BEST "video" EVER.

  • @judygarsdale <--- Hello juygarsdale, I'm glad you like the video. We absolutely love this old truck and it runs great. It lives on The Rusty Ranch in Central Texas and has seen 47 years of Texas weather. It's a beauty for sure! I keep it in the barn now, but for all those years it had to stay outside - and it's got a great patina to show for it!

  • See this truck being driven in Texas in the following youtube video: 1964 Chevy Truck "Wahoo Sue"

  • "chevy pisses on ford"-my uncle haha! hell yeah

  • it's mater!

  • @mugger883 <-----Hello mugger883, Thanks for the comment! My 7-year-old wanted to name this truck "Mater," but since my wife's name is Sue and this is our ranch truck, well, I named it "Wahoo Sue." It seems to fit. This truck has been in numerous other Youtube videos and once it was featured in a Reality Show Pilot that was filmed in College Station, TX. Not too long ago I got a request from a girls volleyball coach to have her team (the Cowgirls) picture taken in with the truck. what a hoot!!

  • @BigTex347 no problem, i also thought that the music and the video match

  • i love those 60's chevy trucks. my dad had a '64 when i was a kid. 283 with a 3 on the tree. looks like you guys are having a lot of fun with that old truck. keeping them on the road is always more fun than trailering them and trying to win trophies. i love all old cars but the beaters are the most fun.

  • nice man! I love seeing these old trucks still being used as daily drivers =) where i live most people see an old truck and take it to the scrapper =/ hard for a person like me who wants to restore one of these nice old trucks =)

  • Thank you for saving this beauty! I kick myself everyday for lettin my first vehicle go I had for almost 7 years. my 1964 chevy c10 Miss it so damn much.

  • @TwiTch714 Absolutely! We love driving this truck around town - and honestly, I would drive it cross-country without hesitation. Everything is original to the truck, but things that could be replaced (hoses, belts, fluids) have been replaced on a regular basis. This truck has been in other videos and it has also appeared in a reality show that was being filmed in Texas last year. It's quite an eye-catcher!

  • i love the way old trucks rust in texas....nice and even like this, its a perfect patina.....with the newer trucks , the roof is all that rusts

  • ive got 2 projects right now, a 1979 stepside chevy with 500,000 miles, and a 1986 chevy suburban with 155,000 miles......i love em both, they are my rusty american dreams

  • @Texassince1836 Yep - it's in our blood . . . rusty old trucks are like lost puppies, I just have to gather each one up and give 'em a good home. Take a look at one of my other youtube videos titled "Call Me Old Fashioned" for a peek at a few of my other vehicles. The video has an orange/rusty 1946 chevy truck for the youtube picture. Make sure that BigTex347 is the author of the video because there are other videos with the same title. Good luck with the restoration projects .

  • i live down south, so my rusty american dream will never see her last year...and after i jump her some juice, she backfires through the carb as she roars to life once again, "oh what fun it is to drive my rusty chevrolet"

  • @Texassince1836 This chevy lives in Central Texas on The Rusty Ranch in Blanco County. I get offers to buy it almost every time I take it out for a drive. I wouln't sell it for the world!

  • what a beautiful truck! Thats the kind of rust that adds character. unlike the road salt cancer we get here in the Mid Atlantic.

    thanks for sharing!

  • @a1awind - Thanks for the kind comment. I have several other antique vehicles, this one is a daily driver and quite a head-turner. As a fellow surfer, I think you would be interested in my 1969 Chevy van that is really a sweet ride. I have a video on youtube titled "1969 Chevy Van at Home at The Rusty Ranch." This van has made a zillion surf trips and has lots of stories to tell. We had a van club in the 1970s called "Gulf Surf Van Club" with all 1960s vans. It's truly an original!

  • @BigTex347 that van is a gem too! I can't remember the last time i saw a 60's chevy or gmc van that wasn't a cor-van. it is a chore to keep a car nice up here...cant get the wife to move south though. so my buick spends her winters in a garage.. and my poor f150 rusts away. take care.

  • great song love the "Slick Sixty's" trucks and cars but would have been better if it was my old 61 uni body ford in the video. Just razzing :P

  • @61ratrodforduni - Thanks for the kind review of my 1964 Chevy truck video. I find and restor old trucks - the more rust - the better! I bought this truck many years ago for my wife "Sue" - her birth year is 1964 - and she loves it. We had the doors painted in a "dude ranch" theme as you can see it says "Wahoo Sue" with a girl riding a bucking bronco. We love this truck and it runs absolutely great - I would drive it cross-country anytime. My ranch is called The Rusty Ranch for good reason!
