Many thanks for posting this video. I lived in Ironwood in the early-mid 90's. Still miss it very much. Hopefully will be able to retire there in @4 years. Ahhhh, the memories.
The U.P. is awesome...Spruce, fir, pasties, Evening Grosbeaks, and of course yoopers! I even bought a shirt that says "Say ya to da U.P. eh?" I used to go up there a lot during my internship in Door Co., WI
Seriously need to move up there, I live in metro detroit, but use to vaca up ther too, all over: kitchitikipi, pictured rocks(my fav)and escanaba, its so surreal, def a break from city life!!
You part of the country looks very Beautiful. I haver been to the U.P. but after seeng the pics, I think I will come over there, and spend some time. Absent the mountains, it looks alot like North Idaho.
We're only 2,000 feet up, but plenty of bluffs and cliffs to get into trouble by! LOL The river gorges a shear walled too. Perfect country for my new .338 Lapua Mag when income tax gets here in 2 months!
Gorgeous country looks like it rains all the time. In NM it is feast and famine I guess I should post some of my cool pictures too it is kind of eyewash after all the usual stuff we look at.
Being close to the big lake (Lk Superior) most of the time its cloudy, but the past 2 years we've had a lot more sunshine! Keep's the cabin fever down! :)
im from bessemer and miss it very much! love the pics! i wanna go to the B.R. harbor.
