yes, he was a thoroughbred.. barely 16hh.

he had a compound fracture on his front leg in the pasture and was put down almost immediately.

the little girl was me.

her name is ( GRIETA ) a spanish name for a spanish horse. rescued from an almost certain death she is 17.5 hands

he was my best friend. i still expect to hear his neigh when i go down to the barn, even though its been a little over a year. i still get a halter and a lead rope and get ready to go on bareback trail rides for hours. i still look down and expect to be riding a bright red horse instead of a black one. and i still go to the barn when i cant sleep to curl up with keelo.. and he's never there. he was so perfect it makes me sick. i would do anything to have him back..

Hey Emily. This video is so lovely it made me really cry. Your boy was so gorgeous, I am so so sorry for your loss, I know it was a while back now, but sure he will be with you in spirit always and i know that will have fantastic company up there. It looked as tho your boy couldnt have asked for a better life, he looks as tho he enjoyed every moment. He looked so smart in all of his lovely tack etc.
