Loving the set up man..My question is do you have any difficulty in throwing uppercuts in terms of hardness of the bag. I am contemplating getting one of these instead of a new uppercut bag. Wasn't sure if they were rough on the hands. Even with my IMF or gel gloves I need to know.
The bag is actually pretty soft, I have bad wrists and can throw my UC's at this bag harder than i can at a standard UC bag, which will make you pay if you land the UC a little of camber. Dont get me wrong, if you dont catch this bag square, it can take a toll on your wrist, but i find it more comfortable than a standard UC bag. Good gloves (IMF are great) and good wraps you will be good to go!
Thank for the review. I already had the IMF tech's..threw my campeon's away for them. Loving it so far. You are right about the angles though. If you catch it wrong can make your wrist sore. I must say though I love this bag more so than my ringside heavy bag...and that is saying something. haha. The potential for hooks, working angles, and uppercuts with this thing so far have been great. If they made it in a 80lb or heavier model I wouldn't complain either.
