  • My house is 1957 two! Why no furniture? And I thought I had a big rambler... lol

    Retro

  • With all the mirrors, it looks like something out of "Boogie Nights".. It has got potential though haha

  • beautiful. I love it!

  • The place is big but stark. It needs to be warmed up with some natural earth tones, some stone, some wood here and there like they were intended to have in the late 50s to early 60s. What a great house with tons of potential to be restored!

  • don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore Mid Century design but I can't help getting a nursing home feeling from this place! I'm sure with the right colors and furnishings it could be amazing but as it is, it just looks like an old folks home...

  • @TroySundt I know what you mean. There was a bit of a nursing home vibe to the place especially the bathrooms.

  • What is/was the price ?

  • @V8Deuce

I believe it started around $800k and was reduced to $550k when I saw it. It came out to about $100 a sq ft. The problem with such a a big house would be cost of materials to renovate. Can you imagine how much even wood flooring would be for a 5000 sq ft house?

  • Now this is THE HOUSE! I sure hope NOBODY ruins it with a stupid remodel. Keep it exactly as it is PLEASE!!!!!

  • Why didn't you film the outside front of the home?

  • @V8Deuce

I added a Google maps street view to the description.

  • sume day ill have a house like that bit it will be full of 1950's&1960's antiques!!!!
