Nice video, just curious why the vette has QM600 cams lol, pushrod engines only have one camshaft. The only corvette that had CAMS, 4 of them to be exact was the early 90s ZR-1. I dunno, I just see a lot of mod lists with "cams in my vette'' lol. I'm not saying it wasn't a typo, just saying...

The porsche had GT30 turbos good for 800hp with built motor its obvious whose gonna win... boost the vette to make it fair. Nice kill for the porsche but there are vettes out their pushing far more power than any porsche has ever put down 2000hp with 200+ quarter mile trap speeds. Both beautiful cars though

Upgraded Turbo Porsches are Very FAST!!!!! I own a 930 turbo all built and run dead even with my 06 Z06 up to 140mph. Newer Porsches have better computers and really can be tuned to put out 600-700hp. Z06 is still best bang for buck and a great car. Stock for stock a Z06 will run down the Porsche. Fact not fiction. Mod WARS can go on forever people!

I don't give a damn how much cam you got in a Z06 Vette N/A! No way in hell that thing is going to take a 997 with twin GT3071R's! Those things flow 50lbs/min each! Plus the race was at night and the Porsche was being force fed intercooled boost of like 50F or less! LOL! What a joke! This is not even a race! If the guy in the vette was smart, he wouldn't have raced the 997 at night. Based on the severely cold boost temps, he is adding 30-50RWHP just from cold air. LOL!

Correction. The ZO6 in this video WOULD run down a stock 08 Viper. Cammed ZO6s run 130-132 at the track - the new Viper hits 126 from what I saw in a few road tests. Thats a big difference. But true:  A stock 08 Viper WILL BEAT a stock 08 ZO6 - but not the one on this video.
