got a big ambition on one day become like your shop i got some equipment but dude you are already established wish me luck by the way did you know any printer that can print glossy laminated business cards in high volume thanks men nice work!!!!
Does anyone else remember the times when someone claimed to have a print shop it meant you had printing presses? Ones that were steel and extremely heavy machines. I like the old school print shops. This stuff is desktop publishing. Good luck to you anyway dude. You seem like a hardworking guy. I just miss real printing
i`m just 23 but, i have my own print shop( small biz).i just start in 2009 this video give me a truly clear idea about my future in printing biz.. perfect video i ever see..please upload more vid about you shop it amazing
I was browsing through your samples you do nice work. I sell graphic finishing services to many printers in the chicago land area do you send out work occasionally?
You think I would be able to get hired at a shop like yours if I had minimal printing experience? I have some experience with photoshop and illustrator but next to none with printing. I realized too late how vital those skills are because everyone I talk to about employment wants you to have experience with printing. Would you happen to have any suggestions on gaining printing experience? Perhaps doing interning for print shops? Thanks for any advise.
I would suggest working at a local print shop on the production end. Get to know the equipment first. You would be amazed how much you can learn quickly.
The software end of it will come once you starting interacting with the creative team.
I never had formal training, just an ambitious attitude to learn.
Thank you so much! I appreciate the advice. I was thinking along the lines of working with local shops, It gives me more confidence to hear it from someone who has a successful business. Thank you
Is this old school?

@AlphagraphicsCom The HP DesignJet is a work horse. I bought in brand new out of the box in 2004. Works great since day 1

Do you have any traditional printing presses? From watching this, it looks like you are just a sign/banner shop. But cool video anyways :)

@Burke68 no messy inks or clean up. Digital is what my current set up is. It low key and quiet.

When you take your pictures, how do you light your products? They look nicely lit.
