Its Remembrance day in Canada today. A local radio station had a moment of silence and played that traditional bugle military song. The DJ faded it out to this song. I had never heard or appreciated this song until that moment (although I've played this one 1000's of times :) I guess that's whats great about Pink Floyd, their songs can be interpreted in so many ways.

There are others, I am certain, who follow/followed Pink Floyd thousands of times more closely than what I ever have or probably ever will. Having said that, I somehow.. somehow and I don't know how, get the feeling that this is the "culmination song". The song which all those years of friction produced. The grain of sand which an oyster eventually turns into a beautiful pearl. Roger Waters and others may not have been here but they are in this song. It is beautiful.
