  • the planned parenthood thing is just...funny...How can he say that with a straight face? Oh he doesn't have to, it's radio.....But we are to believe that planned parenthood's ultimate goal is to systematically eradicate specific demographics? And how does that work exactly? They're comparing to concentration camps...but who is being forced to get an abortion?....Abortion is an option available to all women if they need it...I'd like there to be less abortion but let's not just go making shit up

  • What the hell does "So-Called" Ethnic Cleansing mean. Does he not believe it happens, if he doesn't he's even more of a dumbshit I thought.

  • You're drawing a bizarre parallel between abortion and immigration. As if we IMPORT people to replace the fetuses we abort.

That makes zero sense. Mexicans would come here regardless of what our abortion policies are.

  • Uhmm Planned Parenthood's links to the Eugenics movement are actually quite real;and Newt Gingrich .was just asking a question on many people's minds;the rest of the stuff is over the top;but what can you do?This politicization of the Supreme Court Nomination Process started with Ted Kennedy in the Bork confirmation.

  • I wonder if conservatives realize how hypocritical and ironic they are. Or do they simply lie and steal without any regard for others?

  • I just realized why conservatives are so frustrated, they don't have a big enough enemy. The USSR collapsed, there aren't any people with enough power in the world to act like Hitler, the communist are buying too much of our debt for us to disrespect them, and that whole bin Laden, terrorist hiding in every corner thing didn't keep Americans scared long enough. Conservatives in this country will be okay once North Korea does something egregious enough for us to bomb them.

  • All I could do is sit here during the two minutes hate with my mouth open. Do these people really talk like this when they are not spewing spittle on a microphone?

  • What is the effect on someone's mind of listening to this mean spirited garbage day after day and year after year? It must start to sound normal and reasonable after a while. Here's my opinion. If you don't want other people to control what you think and how you think then read. Read the Bible and The Communist Manifesto. Read Brave New World and 1984. Read The Grapes of Wrath. Read Cat's Cradle. Read Civil Disobedience. Read anything and everything you can get your hands on and never stop.

  • So killing and torturing foreigners is ok but killing a fetus isn't? If you are going to be pro-life and make the pro-life argument then you need to be pro-life for all people. We don't have enough jobs for the people we have now and you want more people. You say Pro-life but you don't want the slightest of restrictions on guns, which are used to kill people. GENIUS.

  • They can call themselves anything they want but it is obvious they are not pro anything they are Anti-Choice. The sooner we start calling them what they are instead of what they claim to be the better.

  • Well, think of it this way... "Pro-lifers" aren't about being pro-life, so a more apt term should be "pro-birth" because they really care about whether someone is born or not, but once you're out of the womb, GET A JOB! We're certainly not gonna take care of you, with things like health care, welfare assistance ("entitlements") and all that entails. That's the thing that boggles my mind. I guess they just want more young folks to send to war...

  • It would help if they actually had a legitimate argument instead of lashing out with ad homineum attacks. Somehow, recess name calling amongst adults does not strike me as a legitimate argument. Inflammatory rhetoric is for the birds. This nation is screwed if people who don't actually think continue to spew out this garbage and taint future generations...it'll be "Idiocracy" without humor of President Camacho.

  • This makes me sick. No doubt too many believe this garbage. It is hate-full indeed. (And I WISH Obama were more of a socialist.)

  • It's interesting the crap people will funnel into their own ears these days.

Nice video, but those creepy audio sliders in the background were really distracting and..... well, creepy.

  • "...aborting conservatives" ... WTF?????

How the hell does he know?????

    LOL ... what a dumbass.

  • There is no difference between Rush Limbaugh and a pile of steamy stinky shit.

  • How many counts of slander does it take to sue a right-wing wack-job? Stay tuned.

  • He's been at it for over 25 years. How many times has Rush been sued for slander?

  • If it was done the first time he slandered, we would have saved ourselves 25 years of racist, hate-filled bullshit from them all.

  • Rush is too funny. "abort conservatives"

Doc: "I'm sorry to inform you Mrs. Ben, the child you are carrying is a conservative and under plan parenthood rules, must be aborted. Better luck next time."

    Is that sick or what?

  • lol, soz but thats hillarious. in all honesty if my son was rush i'd abort him myself.

  • the more I listen to these guys the more surreal they come over

  • Good ole Rush, Retarded as usual

  • Are these people high?

  • I love mediamatters, but i don't know how much more vomiting in my mouth i can muster. will these right wing nut jobs ever go away

  • No they won't. Millions of brain dead right-wingers need these pundits to do their thinking for them.

  • The Republican Party continues to implode. Beck, Oreilly, Limgaugh...they are all helping. Unfortunately, there are negative consequences to their hate speech. Hate speech should be outlawed.

  • unfortunately it can't be otherwise we wouldn't be able to voice our opinions of the aforementioned morons

  • I believe there is a difference between antisemetism, anti-hispance, and racist speech versus speaking out against people like Rush.

  • Anti-Hispanic/Mexican sentiments are going through the roof thanks to republicans. And who says republicans aren't racist swine?

  • It's got to be a wonderful and scary world for Glenn Beck. He seems to be schizophrenic, like he's living in his own little dystopian future apart from everyone else.

  • And the crazy people wonder why we can't possibly take them seriously. None of their comments are even based on reality!

  • And please remember, Sotomayor's ruling was within the framework of the law. The Supreme Court was the one that changed direction in the New Haven Firefighter case.

  • And it was a 5-4 decision no less - along ideological lines.

  • I really hope these moron republicans stay out of power forever, they're too damn ignorant and stupid to be running this country to the ground like they have for the past 8 years.

  • who still gives a shit about ACORN?

  • This is so painful to listen to.

  • seriously...they are nuts (pardon the pun)...Limbaugh is the worst of them

  • I don't know about that. Beck seems to be giving him a run for the money as far as who can make the most insane proclamations. I await the day when Beck finally has the mother of all meltdowns and puts a Glock in his mouth. One can only hope that he will "do it live". You can't exist so far outside the realm of reality without it taking its toll.

  • what is it with them and Oak trees? LOL

  • keep on digging your holes right wingers. can you say "permanent minority voting status"?

    progress cannot be stopped.

  • Soo ... I take it they don't like ACORN?

  • Sometimes I wish we'd all just ignore them (including me). But sometimes it's fascinating how dumb they are lol.

  • Exactly. Fox News doesn't get their high ratings from right wingers alone.

  • Funny that Glenn is obsessed with nuts. I got these guys all wrong they are actually comedians for the mentally impaired.

  • i wish that the conservatives would back up their statements with evidence instead of just blurting shit out of their mouths and hoping its right. show me evidence and then maybe i will believe you.

  • Really-I can't say this enough:

How selfish and blind are these fucking assholes? Do they EVER consider what it has been like to be black or Hispanic in America, and have nothing but white people running things? White people who have explicitly SAID racist shit? White people who have DONE racist shit?

I mean what the fuck? That is what I just don't get about white racists-why do they completely ignore any instances of white people being racist-almost like they believe any white racism is truth!

  • Exactly. I agree with you. Any opposition to Obama and the new administration is racist.

  • No.

It's very easy to tell when it is and when it isn't.

In Sotomayor's case, the second I saw her, and saw she was Hispanic, I KNEW I was gonna hear about "reverse racism" & "unqualified" for months before I knew ANYTHING about her.

I was just like "Oh no....she's Hispanic. I'm gonna have to listen to more coded racist rhetoric about her."

Because if a person of color is not a republican, and in a position of power-they HAVE to be a reverse racist, unqualified, or both, right?

  • You must have missed the fact that Sotomayor on numerous occasions stated that a woman of Hispanic heritage would make better decisions that a white male. So, unfortunately, Sotomayor appears not only to be a racist, but she is the one whose statements injected race into the debate. So what you're doing is trying to whitewash--no pun intended--Sotomayor's racist and sexist statements and the fact that her racism disqualifies her.

  • The damn puerto rican women! Always trying to keep the white man down!!!

  • Why are you focusing on her ethnicity and on making her a victim when she clearly is unqualified. That is, if a white man had said what she said in reverse, that a white man would make better decisions than a hispanic woman, he would be disqualified. Why do you favor separate standards based upon race and gender? Isn't that a form of apartheid?

  • There is no such thing as reverse racism. When the Democrats opposed the Bush nominee--Miguel Estrada--a qualified latino--were they racists? Nobody complained about anti Hispanic racism when Miguel Estrada was denied a seat on the Court. Looks like it's only racism when a Democratic party person of color nominee is voted against. When a Republican person of color nominee is voted against, that's progressive.

  • Estrada was not denied because of his ethnicity, he would not fully answer the questions put to him in the pr-confirmation process and in addition would not provide his writings from his time with the solicitor generals office under Bush 1. racism was not an issue!! go and look up the info if you don't believe it.

  • I agree with you. Estrada was not denied because of ethnicity. However, Sotomayor should be denied because she has disqualified herself with her racist views on the superiority of hispanic and female judges as compared to white and male judges. If a white male judge said what she said on numerous occasions that a wise latina would make better decisions than a white male he would be disqualified. There should be a single standard and she should withdraw.

  • you didn't do diligence on her statement and the context of her statement. if you are getting your talking points from Hannity and Limbaugh stop. they will not give you anything but right-wing nut babble. thinking for yourself is a very rewarding thing and so is the research.

  • Actually, I would respect her if she was honest instead of a liar. She not only repeated her sexist, racist views on numerous occasions in public, but she is a member of racist Latino supremacist organization called La Raza. Now, she's backtracking and saying she doesn't really think latinos are superior to whites. In other words, she's lying about her views on race which is the central issue for our nation. My question to you is why are you supporting a racist for a Supreme Court seat?

  • you need to stop listening to hannity and rush. it is fogging up your ability to rationalize. and you know nothing about la raza or it's meaning. STOP watching Fox.

  • Wow, simply wow. Do you have any proof of that statement? part of a racist organization? Damn kid, you should be ashamed of all of your lies. How can you sleep at night. Shes not a racist you brainwashed fool. Her quote was talking about racism. she said she hoped a wise latina women with much experience could make a better call than a white man with less experience. Shes talking about how people are racist and assume whites are better, regardless of their experience.

  • She didn't say a "white, racist man" though did she? Or do both she and you both automatically believe that "white" and "racist" are synonymous? Tell me, because you seem to have some uncanny insight into what her thought processes are.

Defend her what she does right. Don't make excuses for what she's done wrong.

  • g'head... provide a direct quote that supports your twisted view of her "wise latina" comment - which was pulled out of context anyway. We'll wait.

PS. - did you even bother to read the entire speech or are you just spouting talking points (rhetorical question)

  • abortion is elective. the mass exterminations at the hands of the nazis were not.

wow... there's hyperbole and then there's rush level huperbole.

  • abortion is not elective for the fetus. and I think you know that's what Rush means.

  • given the context of genocide, forced labor, extermination, denial of rights and forced relocation that a nazi equivocation entails along with its universal repudiation it is far too broad a comparison to really be an appropriate simile to abortion, that was my point.

this is a textbook example of reductio ad hitlerum

  • Since abortion was legalized by the Supreme Ct, 50 millions human lives have been ended by abortion in the USA. Some view that as genocide, extermination and denial of rights.

  • It doesn't meet the criteria for genocide: there's no racial element to it when anyone who wants an abortion can technically have one.

Extermination: it doesn't meet the criteria either because extermination requires the willfull elimination of an entire swath of the population by a group of people. These are individuals making decisions on their own.

Denial of rights: is probably the only contentious issue here but even then it's not black and white: who has the rights? the mother or child?

  • One of the most reasonable arguments I've read on the subject yet. Thanks.

  • You can't finesse this with legalese. Since abortion has been legalized, 50 million human lives have been destroyed. Who knows what contributions to human progress were eliminated by abortion. We'll never know. When you eliminate millions of human lives as America has done, whether you call it extermination, murder, genocide is immaterial because the killing is legal. But some see it for what it is. It is destroying America and it's wrong.

  • what I'm saying: words matter.

what you're saying: abortion is wrong.

    completely different arguments.

appealing to hypotheticals is no substitute for an argument. calling my arguments legalese is also no argument and does not address the substance of what I was saying. Appealing to doom and gloom predictions of America's downfall is also not an argument.

my 2 cents: america's downfall will more likely come from the systematic castration of science in the the classroom and budget deficits.

  • In the same way that something horrible happened in Germany and Eastern Europe with the genocide machine of the Germans, something horrible is happening in America with the 50 million lives cut way short by abortion. That is what Rush is saying. Now, are the situations identical? Of course not. However, abortion is having wide ranging effects on America, It's part of a trend which is wrecking the country.

  • in other words: I agree abortion is a tricky issue and if rush wants to have a sincere discussion about abortion then let's have it. But using the language that he uses does nothing but obfuscate the real issues and results in an obvious appeal to emotion by an obvious association to Nazism. That's dishonest and logically fallacious.

  • Rush's M.O.: make the angry Republicans angrier with the reddest of red meat, sit back and count the dough.

  • Actually, in the same way the Nazis denied the humanity of their enemies--Jews, Gypsies and others--the pro choice forces deny the humanity of the human lives they campaign for the right to destroy. A fetus is not a human life, they say. And like the Nazi war machine which built an efficient mass producing killing machine, the pro choice forces front for the medical establishment which had destroyed 50 million American lives since abortion was made legal. The similarity with Nazism is real.

  • Nobody denies the foetus' humanity nor its potential to be a human being at some point. It's just no more a human being for the first few weeks of gestation than a few ccs of semen or a single ovum is - at least medically speaking. In fact the foetus at that point bears more resemblance to a tumour than a human being. Should we ban all forms of cancer treatment? Perhaps we should outlaw masturbation too?

FYI When people have forced abortions then we can talk about Nazism.

  • You're denying the humanity of the fetus. In fact, the fetus is a human life. It is not a cancerous tumor. Once the humanity of the fetus is denied, then one may easily destroy it. Most abortions occur as forms of birth control. As in, oops, I'm pregnant and it's inconvenient for me right now. This destruction of human life on a massive scale is having wide ranging effects on America which the pro choice crowd will not address.

  • Sorry, but medically no, it's really just a mass of cells with the potential to become a person. There are no organs, no nervous system, no bone structure, nothing. It's only a person at that point if that's what you are predisposed to believe - particularly if you are religious.

You seriously misunderstand the pro choice camp btw. It isn't that we are for abortions: we are for the freedom to chose what to do with your body.

For the record I don't agree with late term abortions.

  • Biologically, a fetus is a human life. It is the very early stages of human life. And since biology is the foundation of medicine, medically--a fetus is a human life.

  • kid, look up the definition of Life and Fetus before you make claims about it. Oh, and real mature blocking me. Scared of the truth much?

  • Your five paragraph liberal rant did not help you in this debate. This made your opinion weak and baseless. Stick to the argument and please dont insult each other.

  • Like you blocked me? I never called Sotomayor a racist. I just think you're overzealous in defending her to the point where you infer intentions in her statements that she NEVER provided herself. And your ad hominem attacks and straw man arguments you left on my page are laughable. They went to the trash where they belong. You would be much easier to take seriously if your posts weren't so rabid and hyperbolic.

  • I like blocked you?Like totally!lol, kid, take your head out of your ass. You have to earn arrogance. First off, look up the words you use, stop butchering the English lanuage, it only makes you look like an ass. And how is stating the truth 'over-zelous?' Lol, another idiot whose afraid of th truth. C'mon, Kid, be mroe original than that. I would be amazed if you could back up any of the shit you jsut said (or, if you even knew what you were saying)

  • Kid, just cuz I can actually tell what people are saying, doesn't make me over-zelous. Hell dud, you were the one infering she was racist by her statement. Actually, you didn't infer anything, you're just reapeating the conservative dribble you hear outta the talkity-box. Kid, you'd be much easier to take seriously if, well, if you weren't a retarded,close-minded,mindless,conservative drone. So, if you weren' YOU. Come back when you grow up,Kid. Then I might let you suck my dick....MIGHT...

  • Actually, you have no freedom to choose what to do with your body. It is illegal to commit suicide, for example. In other words, you are the propert y of the government in the eyes of the law. And with abortion, they are now legal and the govt lets you have them. But the govt. could outlaw them and it should. Because abortion is destroying America.

  • really? Abortion is destroying America? How so? Surely you have actuall evidence to support that crazy statement and are definitely NOT talking out your ass, right? You're right, you really Haven't thought this through. And yoi DID change the subject of my debate with you. Hell, you didn't even answer the question. Seriously, did you purposely try to project onto me, because it seemss way too ironic for it to be a coincidence.

  • electango, who's paying you to post on these videos? Savage, the man who put a hit out on Media Matters? If I were in your position I would avoid videos like these. You obviously can't face facts and have to spin everything you disagree with into some fantastic paranoid conspiracy to destroy America. You're a fool.

  • I'm a fool? I can't face facts? Which facts are you referring to? Do you have anything of substance to comment on or are you so secure in your views and so righteous that I should just see the name timdaughte on the post and concede the correctness of your postings?

  • lol, you dumb conservatives have no limit to your hypocrisy, imposing, and irony. Lets look at the good ol' Pro-lifers, who demonizes abortion doctors ('Kill TIller he Baby Killer!!!') and people who get abortions. And you guysalso Kill those people So yes, you conservatives are very much like the Nazi party, banning information (the FCC, and not teaching evolution) and banning gay marriage. Hell, the far right of the political spectrum is called facism, you dumb hick. And thats the republicans

  • We were not talking about the perpetrators of abortions. We were talking about the 50 million human lives destroyed by abortion and the killing machine that the pro choice forces advocate for. You want to change the subject. How can a nation destroy 50 million lives and have in not affect it in huge ways? Have you really thought this thing through? I don't think so.

  • What are these huge effects of abortion to which you are referring? God aborts more fetuses than man, and I doubt you have a problem with him.

  • You remove 50 million persons from a nation and that nation will struggle to replace them. Hence, we have had to import millions of foreigners to man our workplaces. This changes the country in huge ways and not all of them good.

  • "We have had to import millions of foreigners to man our workplaces"??

You have a very twisted world view.

1)How can you quantify the contributions of unborn children?

2)You are the descendant of a foreign immigrant - who the hell are you to judge the impact of immigration in this country?

  • The fact that we have removed 50 million Americans from our workforce through abortions and have had to import tens of millions of immigrants has changed America in many ways. For instance, now we are becoming a more Hispanic, bilingual nation. How is my view of the situation AS IT IS a twisted world view?

  • those 50 million lives weren't even Part of the nation left you dumb lying fuck! You honestly think that if ou stupid fuck! EVen if they were in the workplace, they couldn't find work because we're losing jobs! Jesus Christ kid, do you live under a rock? How can you have no idea how the world works? Use this thing call 'The Internet' and actually research this stuff you ignorant sack of fail.

  • this is why we need to bring back the fairness doctrine. can you imagin RUSH having to present the other side's view as well as his own. hehehehe

  • Well he'd probably just straw-man the hell out of it.

  • Why do you need the "fairness doctrine?" Having control of the White House and both houses of Congress isn't enough?

  • Well because in the 90's, we had a president who was shrinking the national deficit, giving people jobs, keeping us out of wars, and ushering in progress.

Then he got a BJ, lied about it, and we ended up with George Bush.

Now we are in two wars, our debt is at one trillion, and people are blaming the guy who's been president for 6 months for all of it.

  • thanks zndprophet

That's one of the best brief summaries of the last 15 years of US politics I have seen

I don't get why anyone can't see how bad the 2nd Bush was.

This seems to me to be a big flaw in the thinking of the right.

I don't see swarms of people from the left arguing Carter was a great President.

  • his strategy is Blame bush and then in increase spending? I may not be a financial advisor but that just doesn't add up. Liberalism will fail as soon as the run out of someone elses money.

  • And where were you when Bush doubled our debt, and borrowed our way into the poorhouse?

  • My guess is he was waving a flag, saying "god bless america", putting "these colors don't run" stickers on his car, and calling people unpatriotic for questioning anything george bush was doing.

  • Every single day of Obama's Presidency--16,000 Americans have lost their jobs. That's a record of such misery and such a level of disaster, even George W. Bush wasn't that bad. Obama needed to focus on the nuts and bolts of jobs, jobs and more jobs. He still doesn't get it. He's going to be working with a Republican Senate and a Republican House after Nov. 2010 because of his lack of focus on his main job--jobs creation.

  • Look-why is this so hard for you to understand?

In early October of 2008-before Obama was even elected, a long-brewing economic crisis finally erupted. The lava wasn't yet flowing through the streets, but that was inevitable.

I mean, do you not remember this?

It was OBVIOUS that things were going to get MUCH, MUCH worse. At the time, most people were thinking DOOMSDAY, remember???????

Is the presidency a video game? George Bush dies and Obama starts a new game? I mean, what the fuck????

  • No, but if a man gets elected saying he opposes Bush's pro Wall Street, anti Main Street economic policies as Obama did and gets elected saying he would end Bush's endless war policies and then escalates Bush's wars and continues Bush's Wall Street bailouts---I mean what the fuck???? Dude, what the hell did Obama expect? The fact is--McCain wasn't going to be Bush's 3rd term--Obama is Bush's 3rd Term.

  • If there's one thing I've noticed about politics its that change is never sudden. if it is, then its bad.

Bush survived his first term on the foundation Clinton built. Obama has to work on top of Bush's foundation.

I think there were a lot of years where people were waving flags and worrying about terrorists and who was patriotic and who wasn't, and I think some stuff went down in those years we're only beginning to see. No wonder there were so many distractions.

  • Clinton's focus was jobs creation. It's practically all he thought about. And it paid off. There were millions of jobs created under Clinton. Obama, on the other hand, is focused of seemingly everything but jobs creation. He's working on health care, global warming, escalating Bush's endless wars policies and the jobs are disappearing. Obama should hire Clinton as an advisor to get him on track, but Obama apparently hates Clinton personally. And the jobs are disappearing.

  • A lot of the people working in Obama's administration are from the Clinton administration actually. One example-Tim Geithner.

Clinton dealt with a recession in 1993 (republicans always have a recession around the end of their terms), but it wasn't nearly as bad. It took him awhile though to get things rolling again. If there was a recession in 1993, it meant Clinton wasn't quite doing that in his first 6 months.

Obama is dealing with the worst economic meltdown since the great depression.

  • Obama is continuing Bush's bail out of the banks and Wall Street firms which didn't work under Bush and won't work under Obama. Now the banks are flush with cash and are refusing to lend money to job creators. Obama needs to quit tinkering with carbon dioxide taxation schemes and socialized medicine and focus instead on getting the job creation mechanisms back into action.

  • by your statement then you agree that W ran all the jobs out of the country. why then would a business want to come back and pay real wages to Americans when they can rip off a third world worker with a few dollars a week? and your expectation that Obama can fix this in just 6 months on the job when it took years to tear it down.?

  • Obama has taken Bush's endless wars and Bush's economic policies and escalated them both. We have more US troops dying in battle than under Bush and unemployment has gone way, way beyond Bush levels. Obama clearly does not have a clue. He should be focused on one thing and one thing alone---getting people back to work and creating jobs. Since he can't or won't, he will have a Republican Congress to contend with in 2010. The American people are going to be really intolerant of phony excuses.

  • Wow, stop with the lying kid. Give me 1 link to back any of your crazy lies, please. And even if it was true, its because Bush causd the economy to collapse, he just got out before it got this bad, and of course, the idiots like you who didn;t pay attention to Bushs horriblke spending, now blame the guy who inherited the problem. The economy takes time to change. Bush's fuck-ups kept getting worse and worse and are still getting worse...CUZ OF BUSH!!!!!

  • Looks like idiots like me are the only ones who see the truth. Obama is not focusing jobs creation. He's focusing on socializing medicine, on cap and tax which is a harebrained scheme to tax carbon dioxide and not on jobs creation. He should get the economy turned around first and then install his Soviet style medical system. As it is, unemployment keeps getting higher, the cap and tax fraud and socialized medicine will be rejected and we'll soon have a Republican Congress.

  • lol, you wouldn't know the truth if it raped you in the ass. But even a blind monkey can sometimes stuble on fact. Yes, hes focusing on keeping everyone alive, HOW TERRIBLE!! and the cap and tax will help lower pollution which will, again, keep humnity alive (actually bad since idiots like you populate humans). And Obama isn;t focusing on job creation, he focused on keeping the US from going bankrupt and falling into another great depression.

  • Cap and Tax is a fraud. It will not happen. India and China pollute more than anyone else due to their population size and they've already said they're not going with the Cap and Tax fraud. The unemployment that characterized Obama's administration is going to give America a Republican Congress which will put a leash and a muzzle on Obama's drive to move America towards socialism. Obama is a cult leader. Looks like you are drinking his Kool Aid.

  • So, since others are polluting, we should too so that we can die faster? Brilliant! And unemployment has been getting worse begginning in the Bush Administration dumbass. And major lols for telling ME to stop drinking the kool-aid. No irony there, coming from the mouth of a mindless, brainwashed conservatard. Oh, and How execlty is he a cult leader? COnsidering how Many many democrats don't agree with all his methds, including me. And how is he making America socialist, and how is it bad?

  • No, but obviously if America imposes the Cap and Tax system on itself, businesses will move to China and India even faster. So the Cap and Tax won't happen at all. The Congress isn't that stupid to impose crushing taxes on businesses when already Obama's unemployment is approaching double digits. Obama might not understand yet the connection between joblessness and him being a one term President, but Senators and Representatives generally do.

  • and whats a 'cap and tax fraud' I think you mean scandal, fool. You should really at least learn english before you go running your mouth about shit you don;t know. That also goes for the entire Republican party. And since it was Republican spending and bills that caused this mess, that, coupled with the fact that people are getting smarter guarantees that a Republican Congress won't be coming back anytime soon :)

  • Actually, you might think about brushing up on your American History. The US Congress has been under the control of the Democratic Party since 2006. In fact, right now, Hussein Obama has a 60 seat majority which gives him a veto proof ride. He should be using that veto proof majority to get America working again instead of blaming George W. Bush for his failure to get America's jobs creation machinery moving into action.

  • ...I never claimed that the democrats weren;t in control of Congress. *sigh* I'm Truly agruing with a reatrd. A no, many democrats don't vote with Obama, which is why he doesn't get a free ride. And placing blame where it belongs, on George Bush, is something you Idiot conservatives can never do. Take some responsibility for your actions you monsters. Stop watching the conservative lies, go outside and actually SEE the truth, research whats Actually going on.

  • What's actually going on is Bush is retired and living in Dallas, Texas. Obama is President and he has a Democratic controlled Congress which is passing all his measures including his preliminary moves towards giving America a Soviet style medical system. Congress has also passed Obama's escalation of the Afghanistan war which we will lose and Obama's bail out of the Wall Street Crooks.

  • lol, you called him Hussein. I guess that automatically makes him a terrorist, right? Such a sad, brainwashed racist idiot. While it has been fun continually PWNing you, its also very disheartening how stupid and stubborn you are. Please, grow some balls and Accept the truth. Have the courage to admit that you're wrong. I won't continue debating you beacuse, well, its literally worse than talking to a wall. So, if you ever want to actually open you mind, then come back,Kid.

  • His middle name is Hussein because he is Muslim. Only Muslims are named Hussein. BTW, people called Bush, "W" which was his middle name. So I figure if it's OK to call Bush "W," I can call Obama, Hussein. Besides, Obama's Muslim daddy named him Hussein so I'm sure he's proud of the name. It doesn't make him a terrorist however.

  • "We have more US troops dying in battle than under Bush"

    Patently and demonstrably false.

And of course unemployment has gone way beyond bush year numbers... the crisis didn't fully hit until after Bush...

    Nice try kid

  • Obama is escalating our losing war in Afghanistan and he has escalated Bush's help Wall Street by screwing Main Street strategy. Obama's still following the Bush play book. Plus his socialized medicine and cap and tax fraud will not be enacted. Obama is worse than even Bush. Obama is a disaster. Only cult members like you who are drunk on the Obama Kool Aid are failing to see the truth. But in the end, it's the joblessness Obama is responsible for that will destroy him.

  • the only one drinking the koolaid is you sport. What's next, birth certificate rant? ROFL

  • ROFL? While the unemployment lines grow longer and more troops flood into Afghanistan which has been a black hole for centuries eating foreign armies alive? What? You think unemployment is a game? Dude, you Obama cultists are about to get a brutal lesson in basic politics. The Cap and Tax fraud is going nowhere. The move to socialize medicine is DOA. And Obama will either get America's jobs creation machinery up and running and do what Bill Clinton did or he's Jimmy Carter.

  • no kid, I'm laughing at your hyperbolic rhetoric. So guess we'll need to end the VA system since you're so concerned about "socialized medicine". And sorry sport - job creation is at least 2 years off... learn some economics. Then figure out where all the new manufacturing jobs will come from since NAFTA put the final nail in the coffiin of american industry.

  • Eventually, job creation will return. But Obama's mismanagement is going to delay it when the American people deserve better. Obama's focus is all over the map. He's got his Cap and Tax fraud based upon the climate change hoax which will greatly slow jobs creation. He's got his socialized medicine scheme which will kill jobs. He's printing money which will cause inflation and kill jobs. And all this while the economy is going deeper and deeper into recession.

  • you've got to be kidding me, "climate change hoax"? Like I said earlier all you're doing is tossing out rhetoric and talking points. As soon as you couldn't respond to my previous points you lamely try to change subject?

  • No, I'm serious. And if you say climate change is happening and it's man made, you need to prove it. I don't need to disprove it. And can you provide any proof, any sources which provide scientific consensus that the oceans are rising, the ice caps are melting, islands and coastal areas are going underwater? Of course you can't. Because despite all Al Gore's hysteria, the sea levels are not rising at all. It's a hoax. Al Gore and Hussein Obama are hucksters.

  • yawn

  • senatormi Yeah, that's a good idea;FORCE people to listen to something they never would.A true example of superior Liberal intelligence.Anyway, jean Garafolo would win a ridiculous quote contest with Rush any day; but she gets more money haunting houses.

  • sorry not from the states but are there liberal tv talk show hosts?

  • There are. They just don't say such ridiculous shit.

  • There are liberal talk show hosts but they are not popular or entertaining. In fact, they are boring. That's why none of them have the ratings which Rush or Hannity have.

  • There's truth in that. They don't engage in much of the sensationalism that drives ratings for the right wing on American commercial tv & radio.

  • Actually, conservative talk shows have more listeners than liberal talk shows so they produce more revenues from advertisers. That is the bottom line. If you think sensationalism is what's behind the conservatives' success, obviously you need to stop only listening to the slanted snippets of conservative media provided by MM and go to the source itself. MM's video and audio clips are what's sensationalist.

  • You cannot really think that the average CNN newscast is more over the top than Limbaugh declaring that Planned Parenthood is akin to the Nazis' Final Solution. Seriously? SERIOUSLY? Are you really that completely blinded by your political leanings? You know, I can't stand PETA, and the 9-11 conspiracy nuts who say Bush planned it. They are the Liberal fringe, and I shun them. Why do Conservatives embrace the insanity on their side? Do you guys EVER want to win another election?

  • 50 million American lives have been lost to abortion since 1973 and Planned Parenthood has been a driving force behind this mass killing. Yet those opposing abortion are considered part of the kook fringe of American politics. Just like those opposing the Holocaust were considered part of a kook fringe in Germany in 1940. Sometimes, people's ideological leanings blind them to things that are entirely wrong. They end up supporting mass insanity like abortion or ethnic cleansing.

  • And you believe a blasocyst is a "life"? A two-week embryo has no more sapience than a skin flake. And I suppose frying actual living, thinking people in electric chairs is just fine, right?

Opposing abortion isn't the issue I addressed, anyway. Saying abortion is the same as the Holocaust is the issue. A few million Jews might take issue with that, buddy. But apparently, Planned Parenthood is the Waffen-SS.

My support for abortion has nothing to do with being a Democrat...

  • A two week embryo is a human life at its very earliest stage. There is no comparison between an innocent human life and a condemned prisoner sent to the electric chair. The condemned prisoner has been deemed unworthy of life by the state because of a crime he has been convicted of. In terms of the scale of the mass killing, abortion is much greater than the holocaust. In fact, the scale of the killing due to abortion is greater than all the killing resulting from WWII itself.

  • ...It has to do with not believing that women are walking, talking egg sacks who must be strapped to a table and forced to carry an embryo to term regardless of their feelings on the issue.

So, you actually feel that Planned Parenthood's agenda is to wipe out black people? Really? Would you care to go down to your local PP and tell them that?

But again, the original point, would you care to show me what has appeared on the dreaded "MSM" that is worse than Limbaugh or Quinn and Rose?

  • Planned Parenthood makes money from abortion. It is an industry which manufactures death that masks what it does by brainwashing the women who conspire with it. Those co conspirators are taught that they are heroes because they are exercising their right to choose. Planned Parenthood has destroyed millions of human lives. They destroy millions of human lives to make money.

  • Again, there are many, many Jews who would take great umbrage at that suggestion. And also again, the woman has no say in anything? A blasocyst is not a person. It is not a living person, it has the potential to become a living person.

BAH. I must stop. I could go on for a LOOOOONG time on this. Once again, this wasn't the issue. It does bring the issue into sharp relief, however.

See, your argument IE abortion, much like Limbaugh's, isn't helping elevate the discourse. It isn't-

  • -valid. Here is a valid argument against aboriton: "I feel that allowing abortion to be a common, legal procedure causes our society, as a whole, to have less respect for life, and thus be more likely to treat its citizens as 'things'." I disagree with that, but it is a perfectly valid argument. And it starts an actual discussion. Which is the whole damned point of political discourse. To start people talking with one another, so they better understand each other's viewpoints, and-

  • -regardless of whether their minds are changed, are in a better position to make a compromise that better serves the public at large. Simply declaring "PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE ARE WORSE THAN THE NAZIS" is "hate speech." It does nothing whatsoever except inflame, and encourage anger and spite. Which culminates in what happened to Abraham Lincoln, what happened to Jack Kennedy.

  • Making elimination of human life at its earliest stages legal makes other steps more palatable. Next, the elderly in nursing homes, unable to bathe themselves or relieve themselves without health care aides--those aren't really living persons anymore. For their own good and for society's good, they should be put to sleep. So not only does abortion destroy innocent human lives, it cheapens human life generally. And cerebral palsy victims? What kind of life do they have?

  • People who want to eliminate freedom of speech talk about "hate speech." Their theory is that there are unintelligent persons who can be influenced, indeed brainwashed by ideas. For instance, if the idea that Planned Parenthood runs a medical industry which terminates millions of human lives (which is true BTW) is used to compare PP with the Nazi govt (which also ran an industry of death), that this comparison must not be made even if it is true because it might result in those unintelligent

  • persons taking a violent approach to their opposition to PP (which was caused by brainwashing). This of course is nonsense. PP in fact runs a death industry as did the Nazi govt. There is no reason why those two death industries should not be compared and contrasted. Abraham Lincoln and John Kennedy were not killed because of "hate speech." Both men were politicians who had angered certain segments of American society and they were assassinated largely because of that anger.

  • Yes, and I suppose all those people calling Abraham Lincoln a tyrant and a dictator had nothing to do with the hatred directed towards him by John Wilkes Booth? The man actually shouted "sic semper tyranus," the Virginia state motto, after shooting him.

Nevertheless, I do not advocate blocking or removing the ability for the filth peddlers to spew their nonsense. I agree with Voltaire's assertion, "I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

  • When the filth peddlers of the left were castigating George W. Bush as a usurper, a liar, a tyrant, a torturer, etc. did you speak out against this "hate speech?" I doubt it. The man who shot Reagan and almost killed him had stalked Jimmy Carter for months intending to kill him. Perhaps these assassins are after the office itself and have no political motivations?

  • That doesn't change the fact that what they say DOES have a negative impact, and does not serve any actual purpose other than to piss people off for no good reason. And it doesn't even serve their political ends. The Republican Party is currently out of favor with all minorities, women, non-Christians, and gay people. All increasingly large and vocal aspects of the US populace. Calling Sotomayor a "racist" and gay marriage "dangerous" isn't doing them any favors.

  • Sotomayor was quoted on numerous occasions making racist, sexist remarks. Calling her a racist was not necessarily inaccurate. Most Americans are opposed to gay marriage. Obama and Biden publicly oppose gay marriage. The Republican Party is out of favor now because it campaigned for years as the party of limited government and then when it took power in 2001, it led the nation on the biggest government spending binge of all time. It also led America to a big recession.

  • And hell, regarding being incited to kill, Leon Czolgosz, who shot William McKinley in 1901, was basically directly inflamed by Emma Goldman. Her intention was never for him to kill McKinley, but he iterpreted her exceptionally firery rhetoric that way. It wasn't her fault, but perhaps if she had taken a more measured, rational tack, instead of declairing "there are, however, some potentates I would kill by any and all means at my disposal. They are Ignorance, Superstition, and Bigotry."

  • Your first point is the first valid argument against abortion you've made. I disagree, but I will not bother debating it with you, as there is no point whatsoever. Your second and third posts make that abundantly clear. You already believe that Planned Parenthood is equivalent to the Nazi Germany (which, by the way, my grandfather, who went into Dachau with the first expiditionary groups of the 6th Air Force, and saw lampshades made out of human skin, may disagree with). Why bother?

  • I did not say PP is equivalent to Nazi Germany. I said both PP and the Nazi regime built killing machines. They both were big time terminators of human life by mass production. Is this not true?

  • I said, I will not debate this with you. You are equating a reproductive health organization with the worse mass murderers in human history. There. Is. No. Point. You've already placed yourself above everyone else morally, from where you can damn us all. I have no desire to discuss anything with someone who lives in a world of total absolutes, and all of those absolutes say they are right.

And you, my friend, do not know me. I have gotten into quite a few fights, even lost a friend...

  • ...Defending George W. Bush, of whom I am not a fan, to put it mildly, against that nonsense. Did I feel he was horrifyingly wrong to invade Iraq? Yes. Did I feel he was violating the spirit of the Constitution by inviting fundamentalist Christianity directly into the White House? Yes. Did I feel he was "dangerous," or a "dictator"? NO. Because I am not a child. He genuinely believed he was doing good, and was trying to do a good job. I disagreed with him. The end.

  • And look at the voting patterns in 2008, and tell me again that it's all about big government? I know the fallacy of the "Center-Right" nation is a popular meme, but it still isn't true. A relevant quote: "there are three sides to every argument. Your side, my side, and the truth." The country is not Center-Right or Center-Left. It is CENTER. And the average minority voter could care less about "Big Government." They care about what they perceive as racism or bigotry (NOTE: "PERCEIVE").

  • When the GOP became a big government party, they alienated their base which had supported them because they claimed to be for smaller government. So in 2008, the base stayed home from the polls. In 2012, the Democrats' base may stay home when they realize that Obama lied to them when he said 95% of the American people won't get a tax increase. Nationwide, taxes--local, state and federal-- are about to head into the stratosphere and all are affected except the super rich (of course).

  • And by the way, I seriously doubt Booth would have shot Lincoln if Lincoln had been a Democrat, if Czolgosz would have killed McKinley if McKinley hadn't been such a friend of the trusts, and that Oswald would have shot Kennedy if not for the Bay of Pigs. The only one of the four sucessful assasins, Guiteau, who did not have a political motivation, was certifiably insane. He wanted to help his "friend," Chester A. Arthur. Which came as quite a surprise to Arthur.

  • When the Code Pink and other opponents of Bush talked about Bush being a "war criminal" who should be sent for trial to Baghdad for killing Iraqi women and children, they might have incited the mentally unbalanced to kill the President. And did Media Matters attack Code Pink for "hate speech?" Strangely, no. I guess Media Matters is only concerned with "hate speech" when it is speech in opposition to Obama and the Democratic Party and its plan for a one party state.

  • And out comes the conspiracy theories. Media Matters is an organization with ties to Liberal think tanks. It is an unabashidly Liberal organization. It specifically says, on it's website, that it exists to monitor Conservative media. There are equivalent organizations on the other side, which you could find with a few quick clicks. The problem is that there isn't the same level of visciousness so front and center. The Liberal equivalent to Limbaugh is probably Jon Stewart at this point.

  • So, then, "hate speech" which might lead to the assassination of the President isn't really a problem unless Media Matters is in favor of that President.

  • I beg your pardon? Media Matters displays clips. It does not produce the content. The same is true of the organizations on the opposite side.

  • And Jon Stewart, regardless of whether you think he's right or not, does not reach the levels of anger, blind hatred and hypocritical "our shit doesn't stink" that Limbaugh, Quinn, Hannity, Coulter, Malkin, Ingraham, and, God help us all, Savage, reach on a daily basis. Therin lies the problem. The fringe, the Code Pinks and PETAs and 9-11 Truthers (the ones who think Bush and "the corporations" did it), are just that, the Fringe. Limaugh and Hannity are front and center, every day.

  • Your side has a near monopoly on political power in this country. But it's not enough, is it? But the beautiful thing is America never works well with single party government. Look at what a mess Obama is making of things. Everything he touches turns to crap. It's called the reverse Midas effect. So it will be Obama himself and not Limbaugh and Savage who will be responsible for the Republican comeback in 2010.

  • Ah, so we're at the "we'll show you" stage, eh? I hate to break it to you, but the degredation of Obama's poll numbers? It's being matched by a simultaneous degredation of the GOP's numbers. The electorate hates EVERYONE at this point. But they hate the GOP more. And the GOP just alienated many, many women and pretty much all Latinos with the Sotomayor thing. Wanna bet the DNC picks up 1 to 3 senate seats and 3 to 6 House seats?
