I taking this is top rated outside of Korea. Some you have list didn't even get above a viewer rating of 10 % inside Korea such as Heartstrings and Lie to Me {really baby faced beauty was better made better acted and better story} while other are in the mega hit status like secret garden, witch the korean viewers could not get enough of.

Still its a all a matter of taste, like I never seen and never will Ripley because i just do not like heavy melodrama, though i have always liked the lead girl

@missuppereastside yes it started out with a nice 10% but never got past that and went into the 8% range pretty quickly and even its last episode, normally the one to go up in ratings didn't get over that. They have three viewer rating one is for Seoul city on it own the other for the rest of the country, normally the City one is 2 or even 3 % higher than the country wide rating. then they have a national average, that I guess is both the city and country averaged out. So it can be confusing.

i love lie to me, city hunter(though the ending is disappointing i still love it) , heartstrings, secret garden.. miss ripley (jang mi ri is a slutt but i like her & i feel sorry for her.. i'm gonna finish this for sure..) :)) so sad heartstrings has only 15 episodes they cut it down i hate them.. tsshh but i love it..this coming wed. & thu. is the 2 final episodes! yaiks!! exciting!

yes. the producers decided to cut down heartstrings to 15 episodes bec. park shin hye recently involved in a car accident and that causes the delay of the taping. that's the reason why episode 8 of the drama is also delayed and they air special episode instead of ep8,they said that they just followed the contract.

1st qtr - I've only seen My Princess, 49 Days & Secret Garden. I love SG so much that I bought the DCut dvd

2nd qtr- my most favourite is The Greatest Love. The casts & story is superb, it has a great OST too. It was #1 in Korea but underrated overseas. I didn't like Lie To Me that much, although the casts are popular, the story is just horrendous for me. I didn't even finish it. I'm watching City Hunter & Heartstrings now but will watch the others you recommend as well ^^

Can You Hear My Heart has one of the best brotherly relationships ever. The bromance was so much better than the male-female romance. You should watch this just to see Nam Goong Min (the adopted brother) act...he's FANTASTIC! This was a very touching story.
