If something like that happened to you and your child. You should le them know how much they mean you and how much you want them. I had to do it for my son and he is doing a lot better now. He has he time when he act up but not as much as he did before when he first came home.

I was watching this last night and I feel so sad. DCFS take my boys away and put them with someone who let they child hurt them. And when my son came home he was acting up and he told us why. Well she told him that we didn't love him and that we didn;'t care about him. I told him that I love him a lot and that he mean everything to me. That guy was wrong for what he did to he son. He should have let him stay with his mom. But he is an ass for doing what he did to he own child.

But that's never the kids fault and there are usually good people who are willing, ready and capable of taking care of and loving a kid. yes, about a month. i think it was 3 or 4 days longer than a month, something like that - when i finally got home i had a severe infection so i was kind of out of it. my little sister & i were taken to mexico and while there we obviously weren't given medical care so i got an infection and was pretty seriously ill.

@abbycadabbie it was both my non-custodial father & some people he knew but i did not. once in mexico, we were turned over to strangers for part of the time. people assume parental kidnappings aren't dangerous, and statistically they have a better survival rate, but our case was pretty serious. i was 13, in a foreign country with drunks who abducted & abused me, and was nearly killed numerous times. don't feel sorry for me though, cuz if God used it to give me faith in Him.
