Awesome. This demonstrates alternative and cool ways of using traditional instrument's capabilities. How does the GK-3B track up? Specially lower notes?
"why is it that if a guitar player straps on a harmonica and plays like Dylan or Bruce we call him a genius but if he goes the extra mile and puts a set of cymbals between his legs we call him crazy". Just a thought that came to mind while I was watching this.
One question: If I use a GK3-B and a GI-20 with a fretless bass, to drive an analog synth, will the synth output pitch be the same as the fretless audio out (if I'm slightly off tune), or will it be the exact note pitch (corrected)?
Actually, I think Roland recommends using a fretted instrument. I've never tried it with a fretless so I'm not sure. I imagine if the pitch of your playing is off a little bit then the synth is going to sound the closest note. It would not be an exact match. But I would check some Roland forums to be sure. Good luck!
It's kind of like Geddy Lee's (RUSH) live performances. He plays bass, synth, does some heavy job with his feet and sings solo at the same time. You don't happen to have two brains, do you...:-) Amazing concentration. Or concertration....?
The "hands-on" of the creative process is the FUN part, its not the actual end result or product that is of concern but the action of doing that is enjoyable. Keep having fun. Are you using a roland kd-7 or kd-8 for the bass kick? peace
Incredible!! Thanks for the inspiration!
Did you have some foot pedals working? If so what model were they? And hooked into the SPd-s?

Hey, I'm thinking about buying a Carvin KB1000 used off craigslist. Would you recommend this amp?

@bdhays Yeah great amp if you can find one, especially considering the 7-channel stereo mixer.

I heard somewhere that if you fart burp and hiccup at the same time you'll die.

I once heard a joke by a stand up:
