  • If this didn't win then you can send Huckleberry Johnson to the judges himself.

  • did you edit with 1.33 aspect ratio or 1.5

  • @theryaner The anamorphic adapter is a 1.5X adapter, but when you're editing with the footage, you tell it to edit at 1.33. There are too many of these to keep up with. One way or anyother, it ends up being 2.35:1.

  • Gotta say...this tops em all..really! Congrats Team Hi Ho..excellent work guys!!

  • That is one fine ass white bitch.

  • At the intro, is it a dolly shot or a glidecam shot?

  • It was actually a rolling tripod.

And thanks to everyone for the kudos! It's been a while since we've done anything productive, so this feels great!

  • @TeamHiHo My my esteemed colleague Kyle is wrong about that one! It was actually a glidetrack. He only saw me carry up the tripod with wheels and missed the glidetrack attachment that was in a bag.

  • @TeamHiHo Hahaha, I love the esteemed colleague talk. I should have left the technical question for the technical guy, I was just so darn eager to respond! Thanks for covering my tracks. -- kyle

  • @TeamHiHo and one more thing. How did you do the slow motion shot at 1:19 to 1:45. After effects?

    thanks

  • @fbithejames - I just turned the 7D to 720/60p. All in camera. The rest was shot at 1080/24p, but I had to shrink everything down to 720 because my computer woulda just been too slow to edit it all in 1080.

  • @brennan61 So with the 60fps footage, did you just decrease the speed, or did you have to use third party plug-ins?

  • @fbithejames If you take 60fps and make its playback rate 40%, it'll stretch it out to what should be. We edit in Sony Vegas, so for us it was just a matter of right clicking the clips and changing the playback rate on an option. I know that's pretty much available in most software.

  • @brennan61 ok thanks, and how did you incorporate the 60fps footage to 24fps? thanks again :)

  • @fbithejames Once we rendered the stuff we shot at 60p as 24p, it plays on the timeline just fine. If you've never messed with it, it takes like 2 minutes to learn.

  • You guys were amazing, great job, and congrats.

  • Hey! Is that Jinx in the game? You guys know a lot of the same weirdos that I do...

    Congratulations for winning.
