THANK YOU! this is so beautiful. i had my daughter two weeks before i turned 16. i know 16. my mother and father had passed away and i was so lonely so desperate for comfort. in my mind this was an answer, i didnt think about the depth of my decision obviously. she is now 20 in college and wise because of our struggles. i feel guilty because you guys DID help me. i do not take that lightly and am grateful everyday. we will both have our BAs in Mathematics in ApriL. Why is it McCain and Palin's job to teach sex education?? If America's parents would do their job and teach their own kids we wouldn't have this problem. We are all worried about roll models that are set before our children...the parent is and should be the #1 role model to their own kids. I'm sick of everyone judging others. Don't throw rocks when you live in glass houses!!!

I love the irony displayed at the RNC this year when both McCain and Palin stood up and said they are for Americans making their own choices, and against the government deciding for you. Palin is a fucking bitch. She slashed funding for teen mothers. I guess such girls don't matter unless she spawned them. Bristol won't be suffering like most girls. Hell, Bristol probably won't even have to miss her prom much less worry about finishing school and going to college.
Teens should be in school not in bed with a unprotected lay. Parents should do the job. I don't want to pay for your kids babies... or yours ... period. Cut funding on paying for what the parents should be doing , now maybe these idiots will carry protection if there getting into the back seat of a car.
