People are making a big deal out of virtually nothing when it comes to these body scanners. It's obvious that they're capable of catching things that traditional security procedures would have overlooked, and it hardly takes longer than a few seconds.
@watchfulstorm A few seconds of radiation and a picture of your naked body being filed away, where TSA agents can look at and use it for whatever they want. I refuse to fly and would rather drive or take the train.
If you don't plan on flying, then the scanners shouldn't concern you at all. I would also like to point out that the radiation you receive by going through one these scanners is about equal to flying on a plane at 30,00 feet for two minutes, and that the pictures taken are not in any way 'filed away'.
I just want to say that I had bought five tickets for a major airline. I will be cancelling the tickets. I will not fly for any reason until the body scanners and invasive "pat-downs" are halted. I hope the airlines are paying attention because I doubt I'm the only one. They are already having financial trouble and I doubt they can afford to lose customers. I advise them to join the fight to ban these dignity stripping machines and this freedom stripping behavior.

If the demo of the scanners we see (I fly out of New York airports LGA and JFK) becomes NORMAL for future generations in airports, and the Freedom Tower at ground zero they plan to replace the real WTC with gets built, then the terrorists have won twice by making us live in constant fear. I would also like to point out that the radiation you receive by going through one these scanners is about equal to flying on a plane at 30,00 feet for two minutes, and that the pictures taken are not in any way 'filed away'.

I just want to say that I had bought five tickets for a major airline. I will be cancelling the tickets. I will not fly for any reason until the body scanners and invasive "pat-downs" are halted. I hope the airlines are paying attention because I doubt I'm the only one. They are already having financial trouble and I doubt they can afford to lose customers. I advise them to join the fight to ban these dignity stripping machines and this freedom stripping behavior.

im thinking about this and i heard that you can opt out of this procedure and have someone feel you up instead. i think id rather opt for getting felt up by someone id never see again. thos computer images might be getting saved and stored. you never know about what type of new porno they're coming up with. sure most of us didnt expect the 2 girls eat poo from a cup. i just hope its a hot woman feeling me up.

I'm sure everyone wants to get off looking at naked fat ass American bodies. Most people that fly are unattractive and fat, unless you're turned on by fat people and nasty cellulite I highly doubt you'll get much pleasure from this.
Besides, working at for the TSA is still a government job. They go through stricter background checks and selection than your ordinary job at McDonalds. I'm sure it's even stricter now because of 9/11.

I think joining the tsa would be a great diet plan. I would lose my lunch looking at all the disgusting bodies that get scanned. lol, funny how good looking people are put through.

@TakeDetour You are so right. I have posted before I have to fly all of the time. Commercial and private. I fly so often out of Miami and Jacksonville I know just about everyone there. The TAS agents will tell you it"s the worst job there. !st the training is intense 2nd the pay is good but the pressure to deal with the customer and the airline is damn if you do and damn if you don't. Safety is first no matter what . Patting down dirty smelly people is a total bitch. But they need their job.

the rule of thumb if they (TSA) stroke it over twice they are playing with it the more they stroke it the more you should pay for your airline ticket if you get serve like that any were else you would a lot of money for service like that if they stroke you over 200 times you should buy a first class ticket people the police are armed and retarded they will hurt you they only protect the rich

have scrapped scanners and use bomb dogs. According to
the military Dogs are the only foolproof way to find bombs.
