But that person backed out, and Petrucci had a reputation to protect, and seeing as how its known that Dave's solos vary in accuracy and deliverance, he probably volunteered. Yeahhh, I agree, He's good with progressive, but he doesn't have the attitude for the metal, and when he sings metal, he makes the songs CRAP.
