@asiangirl1699 i think thats close, i think its kinda like there are fights between the couple, no matter what they are still loving each other. because of fights the two's relationship have worsen, backing away. Still the two love each other, and want to hug each other in their heart. Therefore, chinese orignated and translated, "back to back hug" (backing away, but want to hug each other). Hope this helps~

A hug is supposed to be face-to-face but due to conflicts in the relationship the hug becomes a back-to-back hug. The feeling is not there anymore.
