I watched that scene at an exhibition today. It wasn't as scary as I remembered. I just saw her imagining the trees and even the LOGS to have eyes and claws and I thought, 'This chick's delusional!'
@Atheneastro not to get into an argument here but who wouldn't be scared given what she had been through? She just had been threatened with a knife, learned that her stepmother was trying to kill her and told to run away from the only home she'd ever known. Whose imagination wouldn't be running wild?
@Atheneastro yeah, it doesn't bother me anymore as it used to. I guess it's because kids scare easier, I don't know. I never thought of that, the tornado scene's music and this one being pretty similar.
The music is one of the reasons I love this film so much, especially that scene where she's lost in the woods:) It's absolutely wonderful:D

@janeyrevanescence12 That is pretty scary, but the actual FOREST scene with the trees with eyes wasn't as scary as I remembered.
The music also reminds me of the tornado scene in 'The Wizard of Oz'.
