Glad to see that Freddy is still performing at the ripe old age of 16. I first saw him smoke a guitar on Norweigan national television at 12, and he was amazing then! Actually, he was only 15 in this video. Got to watch the dates.
r u a GuitAr player? Cause I am and this dude is good but He needs to find his own style wich is not easy but is not easy either play Stevie's music. Try to play....and then judge
@lilliecarias Actually, I play guitar and piano proficiently. And if you would actually read all my posts, you will find that I am saying exactly what you're saying,. I taje it English is not your first language. I am not judging him. I am judging all the other posts on this page who being quick to criticize or who want this kid to be somebody he isn't.
@lilliecarias No worries. I know how you feel. So often on youtube, people without a hint of talent criticize the performers. I'm glad to know you're on the side of the many talented musicians on youtube. Keep it up.
when LESS is more........He will realise one day...this is a Dick measuring contest like a lot of BLUES bloody Jams I have witnessed over the years here in England too..... No doubt a talented Guitarist but do we need any more bloody Blues Guitarists??? I for sure dont! sorry Rant over......I am hungover too HaHa sorry
nice job catch'n yourself bro...for some of us ....Blues is life.....I do agree with ya on the" Less can be More" issue though...All he'd need to see is a little of Tony Joe White and I'm sure it' would sink in fast..
this is his worst cover of texas flood. It's rushed and he's squishing notes in that really aren't necessary. His cover when he was 12 is the best (minus the shredding)
wish he was trying to call me

Stevie's dead. Let him go and let this kid find himself and his own voice. It's evolving.

This is getting out of hand..
The guitarplayer is good....but he is more like Yngvie Malmsteen than SRV.
I really hope he is getting back on SRV tracks soon.

@guitarfrody
YOU NAILED IT.... he's got a bit to much Yngvie in his chops to be considered
a real "blues" guitarist. He needs some maturity and or some good management
producers etc to get a hold of him and guide him along in a sensible manner, he's good
and all, I ain't hatin, just sayin. If he could get a grip on the talent he has and either stay in
the blues or just switch to modern metal/speed riff shit... both don't blend well so make a
choice. I'd like to hear some Jeff Beck .....
