i loved the movie so much i must own it when it comes out on dvd. it made me sad that most people didnt appreciate the film which was a work of art, maybe if it had been released 2 or 3 years ago it would have done better at the box office.

the film was different work of art. A lot of people disagree with it and I admit, I disagree with it as well. I did not think Zach Snyder was the right director for Watchmen. His style is overly done visuals and that most definitely worked with 300. He should stick to the simpler stories so that he can focus more on the visuals.

i agree, i wish someone else would had directed the film jack snyder is more of a sfx person he really does not care about scripting. had i directed the film i would have done it like this audio book in this video but, i would have added a lot more supporting characters to the film.

I personally liked the movie. I mean c'mon, Zack Snyder himself is a big fanboy. He knows the stuff well too. If you tried to film the entire comic without cutting out subplots, it would be about a 4 - 5 hr movie. And sure he concentrated on a lot of the visuals, but isn't that really the point of filming a graphic novel? It's was a comic for a reason - the visuals are important. I think he really did get the point of the story across. He wasn't stupid like cut out monologues or something.
