i did like 5 sets of 40 after my traditional workout. I also found out that pullups if you do them with a certain grip work the forearms too so i incorporate them as well
@hunkydaboyz can't really do weight if you use a resistance band. if youre talking about forearm curls, then i do like sets of 5 and pyramid the weights and do a few sets of lower weight with 20 reps afterwards
I would just like to say this video has helped me alot...ive been waiting for a video like your to come around and it has!!! very nice info and examples!!! iam going to try all of these and hope to see results!!!! Thanks "optimalex" :D
Thanks for the positive comments, which pretty much encourages more videos to come. A straight workout video--legs--and an introduction to the Moment Arm Exercise approach will probably be next.
Bill your videos and your book MAE are great, I wish I had both 10 years ago. This puts some real science behind working out. Now when I look around the gym I can see a lot of others could use your information. thanks when is the next video, you are right they do complement each other.
i was skeptical, then i tried it, and now i won't have to do forearm curls again

Oh, and what are your thoughts about Static Contraction Training (based on the idea of isometric resistance in the strongest position)?

Bill, have you posted any videos or written about applying these principles to the prime movers in sprinting (esp. glute/hamstring)?

Thanks Bill. I find your videos very informative and interesting. I especially like this recommendation because I can do it with powerbands.
