  • i love brian cox :D

  • Try a whole day with no talking? I've been doing that for the last 30+ days... FOREVER ALONE!

  • I remember watching A Night With the Stars when it aired with my mum and she commented on how clear and concise he was, and how despite that she was completely lost.

Also he loves to reference Manchester, which is lovely. :')

  • also, science is fun.

  • mm, inhalers :/

  • I have to pay $40 for antibiotics...... seriously crazy.

  • I'll add the silent challenge to my list of stuff to try someday. I actually don't think it would work in Indonesia unless I spent the day alone since not engaging people in small talk is considered very arrogant.

  • Brian Cox is brilliant I saw him on Night with the Stars and he lit James May's hands on fire. I'm glad you're a fan of him as well.

  • Could not have laughed more at "the donkeys were gone."

  • I loved your silent film! I'm seeing the artist tomorrow and I'm quite excited...

  • Just watched a night with the stars and can honestly say that it was the best explanation of physics I have ever heard, and I did 2 tears in high school. Thanks so much for the suggestion, I don't feel so stunned about physics now!

  • Ha loved the silent film!

  • i like hercules. i feel like he can go the distance

  • aww your mom! : D

  • Move to Wales. We get free prescriptions :)

  • I feel very American in these comments. I've never not had to pay for asthma meds/inhalers.

Maybe the donkeys were camera shy?

  • I watched a Night with the Stars because you posted it on tumblr, and I loved it. Not only was it really funny, it gave me something to talk about with my physics-nerd boyfriend!

  • I woke up with no voice thanks to my lovely cold so this morning was easy. Then it came back and I was super busy. Now my voice has gone on vacation again.

  • Being an asthmatic is great.

    I'm lying.

  • Best silent film ever.

  • comfycute sweater is comfycute. <3

  • surely students can apply for a refund of the seven quid? like folk on dole can?

  • .. I have to pay for my inhalers now!? Aww crap. I should really replace mine aswell, I've not had new ones for years.

  • This video was awesome :D it made my day :) - I was crying so decided to watch you to cheer up and you didn't disappoint :)

  • I'm not sure that the title of this video merits an 'etc.', does it Rosianna... really? haha :) Great video as usual! Hope things went well at the dissertation talks!

  • as you're a student, you can get an HC2 form which means you don't have to pay for prescriptions! you can also claim a refund if you've just bought something :)

  • I don't free prescriptions anymore?! I never knew that!

  • I have asthma too and am over 18, there's a form you can fill in to apply to get free prescriptions/dentist which is worth a try!

  • haha paying for prescriptions does suck, but just imagine how much more it would be if you lived in America.

  • Rosianna, you should totally check out Carl Sagan's work, I'm just a lit student, but the way he discuss science in his books is pretty incredible.

  • Yay! More science.

  • I went the silent route with my video, but a enjoyed your silent film clip more... Well done!

  • you used to get prescriptions for free?.......

    Man, the US sucks.

  • you are excellent rosi! not to sound corny, but you're really what i aim to be like at aged 20. intelligent without being patronising, and interesting just for being you. i'd also quite like to study english, but it remains to be seen if my grades will be up to standard *sigh*

  • At least you don't live in America, where the fee for inhalers would have been substantially more.

  • fairly certain you didn't make them up, I saw them too!

  • you can get free prescriptions if you're a uni student within the uk aslong as you fill in this form that you can get from the chemist?

  • Eavesdropping is my favorite thing ever. My college's dinning halls never have enough tables at peak times so if you're alone or with just one friend you usually end up sharing a table with some other people which is FANTASTIC for eavesdropping.

  • hey, have you read "the marriage plot" by jeffrey eugenides? it's not a brilliant book, or at least i was a bit disappointed, but as an easy-read for travelling it's good enough. i am asking because the main character is an english major and her love (even though as the book went on i wanted to call it pseudolove) for books might be internesting for a booklover like you to read. have a nice day!

  • RAG normally bring the donkeys onto campus, they charge to have your picture taken with them to raise money =P You should go to The Donkey Sanctuary it's so cute! ^_^

  • Even with Hercules you still look gorgeous and I love your humor. Keep up the great videos and growing.

  • Sorry about the previous comment, I should know not to recommend eavesdropping as from an ethical point of view it is dodgy, and if the person twigs what you have done then they tend to become hostile, despite the fact that if you had looked at a post of theirs on facebook, which is essentially the same thing, then they would not care. additionally, i wish to apologise for the previous comment as it sounds like i am trying to suck up to you (which i am, probably futile, but oh well).

  • The Hidden Universe: Parallel Universes by Brian Greene. It's actually fantastic.

I keep asking questions about Quantum Mechanics in class... My teacher refuses to answer.

  • i so want donkeys to be roaming not just around your campus, but the entire of southen england, because you guys down there seem to need more donkey time...

  • I love Brian Cox!!

  • A night with the stars was good, before, despite studying quantum at length on the net and at the library I still had no idea what it was, now however, I (sort of) understand it. by the way, eavesdropping is especially good if you don't know someone and want to know what they like before introducing yourself, i highly recommend it if you are trying to get them on your side about something, like whether your videos are better (my choice) or those of the Yogscast are better (new kid's choice).

  • i was fairly silent today, as i am sick... :(

  • Hello Hercules :)

  • I spent most of my day silent, mostly because I spent the day alone, which was quite nice. Sometimes it is nice to just sit in silence with only sounds from say a clock or a radiator heating up. I find it quite soothing really

  • On the subject of silence, have you seen The Artist? I feel like you'd enjoy it.

  • I loved the dramatic music/effect. Totally awesome. AVPM reference. WHAT? O.O

    :P

  • You know, you juusstt have 19,000 friends.

  • HI! in the comments of the last video someone posted there completed challenge in a blog and they also mention silent movies about this challenge 2 :) I guess 2 great mines really do think alike :)

    anyways the blog was: divasdailyxox.blogspot.com

  • I enjoy being silent sometimes, it's nice to just absorb the world around you rather than contributing so much of yourself.

  • not looking forward to having to start paying for my inhalers, I get through them really quickly.. :(

  • great video Rosianna :)

  • loved the silent film bit! haha, you're so lovely.

  • which book is your all time favorite?

  • Although we have to pay for prescriptions be thankful the NHS won't Warner Chillcott you. I'm not sure if it's still the same what with recent cuts but you can look into getting an HC1 form. I think as a fulltime student you're still eligible for subsidised health related things.

  • oohh i love silent film music :)

  • :):):) great video!!

  • What camera do you use by the way?

  • holy shirmamagram that music scared me

  • Move to Wales, free prescriptions and the land of DW and Sherlock....could we be more perfect? ;)

I failed terribly at this task today, I'm a receptionist so unfortunately there's a lot of talking required! However, I tried to talk a bit less than usual....still fail.

  • @missloisjones I know that Doctor Who is filmed in Wales but is Sherlock filmed there as well? That's so cool!

  • @HannahCruickshank Yeah! It's produced by BBC Wales who also produce DW and they use a lot of streets/buildings in Cardiff and pretend they're London hehe....they even filmed at my university when I was there, but sadly, no Cumberbatch sightings :(

  • @missloisjones Sad about the lack of Cumberbatch sightings but still! That's so awesome. You're closer to mofftiss than I am, up in Scotland.

  • <3

  • ACTUALLY SECOND THIS TIME

  • :D

  • HAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
