@ victorportillo1 hey same thing was happening to me I try restarting the wifi go to your settings- restart- restart network settings.

If that doesn't work you might need a new wifi antenna.

Thank You So much! Had 3Gs for 20 hrs, tired to remove 3g sim card to insert old one to save data on new iphone. The 3g mini sim broke off and got stuck in my 20 hour iphone. After 4 hours of miss-information from O2 customer service, Appple informed me that I would have to pay for repair as it is nor covered under warrenty. O2 informed me that I had brokedn mt phone and this was not covered under warrenty!

I fixed it myself in 5 minutes using this video.

note to all: recently i messed up my iphone. the headphone jack didnt work. strange. I thought it was my headset. nope. the powet button and silent mode didnt work. open it up and make sure there is no little (thin strip) that is unplugged. Push everything in so that its secure and nothing propped up. That fixed those problems all at once.

I didn't have a suction cup but I took a piece of packaging tape and stuck both ends to the screen close together and pinched in the middle for a pull tab, and it worked beautifully!!

I found a screw rattling around inside that had been shorting out the phone causing it to spontaneously turn off. I couldn't find where the screw went but the phone works fine without it!! So Happy! Thanks for the video!

I have an iPhone 3G that blew up because I bought a cheap crappy iPhone charger on eBay. :@ I want to sue the seller sooo bad ! :@ There were sparks flying when I plugged in the wall charger & my iPhone blew up & now is dead. I bought a new OEM charging port but it didn't work. New battery didn't work. I'm assuming it's the motherboard that's been blown up too & is dead now. Is there any way I can fix it ? You rock! My locking button at the top was caked with dirt, so i was able to get in there properly and remove a few of the components out of the way to get to the lock button housing. Something was causing the button to press itself and sometimes hold itself down and lock, unlock, screenshot my phone (when I pressed the home button), and shut off and turn on my phone intermittently. Luckily I didn't need to get my phone serviced.
