@MisterBouncyBounce Well these assholes like to shoot at us from a pretty far distance. Alot of times they place inaccurate fire. We are pretty accurate at placing rounds. Even with the .556 we take much better shots. You are right though I would stay covered when dealing with a weapon jam or reloading lol some of these guys are a little to confident/ballsy lol
this is not 03-04......looks more like somewhere from 07 to early 08. It could even be the march madness in Sadr City in early 08. The body armor they are wearing was not issued to combat units until 07...it is the IBA....also the ACU wasn't issued to Units in 03...units were not fully outfitted with them until 06. I cant tell for sure but it also looks like the roads were lined with T barriers. that was a later addition. My best guess is this is 2-30INF in Sadr City spring of 2008.

i live in new york and the closest military "bases" in my state to me are camp smith. west point, and the Lexington armory, i wish we had closer bases to us as big as fort drum is.
10th mountain is America's BEST when it comes to a regular infantry force. They are deployed more than ANY division and most of its infantrymen have tons of combat experience. The 10th mountain has seen in action in almost every modern conflict.

I thought the 10th mountain was from NC or Tennesse? I watched a documentary on some of the battles they were involved in during WW2 on PBS one night. I thought they said they were from the mountains of NC or something. Or maybe, some of the guys in the unit were from the mountains of NC. I can't remember, I just remember being very proud of them after watching that episode. Several of those guys are still alive, walking history books.

the 10th mountain was reopened in 1986 i should know i was there in fort sill( king of mountian) just after wwII the unit was closed up I think most go to fort drum after basic training is very physical. 10th mountain division gets a lot of specialized trainning artillary weapons training the 10th mountain take care of there own

I have not seen a M-60 in over twenty years and never a M240B
I understand the BS floating on youtube but you have to remember there are a lot of MOS's that rarely fire a weapon unless to qualify.

the 10th mountain was reopened in 1986 i should know i was there in fort sill( king of mountian) just after wwII the unit was closed up I think most go to fort drum after basic training is very physical. 10th mountain division gets a lot of specialized trainning artillary weapons training the 10th mountain take care of there own

if you had ever "been in" you would know that weapon is not a M60!!! its a M240B machine gun. stop bullshitting yourself.

Sorry to disappoint you but I served in a mechanized unit with M113s and I got out early in the 80s. I still had C rats instead of MREs. I served at Ft carson among others
I have not seen a M-60 in over twenty years and never a M240B
I understand the BS floating on youtube but you have to remember there are a lot of MOS's that rarely fire a weapon unless to qualify.

Amen. 11B in Alaska in the 80's and we did not even have the SAW yet let alone the M240B. Hell, I was a 90MM recoilless gunner. We did not even have Dragons and TOWs up there.
