Hi blue27eyes, I can certainly appreciate and couldn't agree more with all the wonderful things that you're saying about Dennis, but I must correct you in the fact that this song was solely composed (music and lyrics) by yours truly, Carli Muñoz - I hope you will still enjoy it as well - peace.
A very strong and beautiful piece of music. Dennis wrote and sung some pearlers. This would have *made* any BBoys album if it had appeared on it. Real music, from the heart, with a divine harmonic structure and tonality. Probably the most underrated musical talent and still not widely appreciated outside of BBoy culture. If anyone hears this and doesnt find it absolutely beautiful, there's something wrong with them.
the guys in the studio during this recording said they couldn't help but shed tears, especially when carl came in on the song. I think Dennis and Carl should have struck out on their own together. It wouldn't have saved their lives most likely but I can imagine the more beautiful music they could've gifted to us.
Gosh - agree with blue eyes. The 2nd track on the double album. A nice hint of the Beatles (an instrument played). Recall Paul/Linda McCartney at Brian's B-day party.
The most moving, beautiful song I have heard. This song makes me cry because it really touches my heart. I truly believe Dennis came to earth to compose music from his soul to all of us...thank you for the gift of your music. May the angels surround you and comfort and love you, Dennis.
Such a beautiful ballad! And the photo at 2:07 just breaks my heart -- so young, and yet his life was probably close to half over...makes no sense at all...
This could be one of Dennis's most intense songs, Carl's emotional pleas in the chorus add to the overall sense of longing. The 2 Wilson brothers went through some hard times in the late seventies and they turn that anguish into beautiful art as they always do.
I love this song so much. Rest in peace Dennis.

It's not too late, words, music and produced by Carli Muñoz, performed by late Dennis Wilson for POB/Bambu - Sony Legacy/Caribu/Epic Records.
