  • 95% of African Americans are hypocritical idiots. If they accept the religion of the white oppressor, then they are accepting slavery.

  • It's so sad you want to deny civil rights to an oppressed minority. Gays are attacked and killed in the US. Just like blacks were. Not exactly the same, for sure. But you don't appove of being gay, even though 5-10% of African Americans are gay. The arguments about church freedoms are not about gay rights, but about the courts misunderstanding the freedom of religion. It's shameful you hate Gays the way white southerners hated blacks.

  • It is about civil rights. Your erroneous statement about homosexuality being a Choice is unscientific. You believe that because of your cultural and or religious beliefs. You have been a victim of racism because of others religious beliefs and you are victimizing gays because of yours. You are racist to say that a white person cannot understand racism. What you are supporting is the persecution of gays in defiance of the Constitution.

  • (see my reply to oriolesfan61). and furthermore comparing the struggle of minority groups to the homosexual lifestyle is not getting it. Not native americans, latinos, african, americans, and asians. Internment camps/ holocaust, genocide, slavery, disenfranchisement and oppression. Gays who don't get this haven't a clue of the kind of covert institutionalized hate that constantly affects your average person of color. If they did "get it" they would understand the offense of the comparison.

  • @Killerbabyseal I had to remove your comment for vulgarity. Vulgarity is antifamily. Why are the No on prop 8 antifamily?

  • @YesProp8 ok.... typical

  • I can't believe any African American could say gay marriage is not about civil rights. You are doing to gays what the southern whites did to you. You should be ashamed.

  • @oriolesfan61

You don't know much about what the pre-Civil Rights South looked like, do you?

  • Gallagher was asked by local supporters of marriage, including the Maryland Catholic Conference and the Association of Maryland Families, to lead testimony in opposition to SB 116, which would change the definition of marriage in Maryland from a man and a woman to "any two persons."

  • Right now, for example, the Catholic Church is

being challenged in Canada because a local parish refused to rent out their church reception hall when they

learned the reception was for a lesbian couple. Legal scholars warn that the tax exempt status and

accreditation of church organizations could be at risk.

  • “What will happen to our church organizations?” After same-sex marriage is created, will the statement,

“Children need a mother and a father” be deemed hate speech? In Massachusetts, the Boston Globe said so:

“Governor Romney is denigrating gay families, practicing divisive, mean-spirited politics . . . by insisting

that every child ‘has a right to a mother and a father.’”

  • 95% of African Americans are on the down low too

  • What most Black people, especially this generation, don't remember or realize that it was the gay community that march side by side with them during the civil rights movement. The only thing i can think of is that black people still face a lot of racism, so much that they forget how far they have come and who helped get the there. the African community & the LGBT community should work together for the benefit of both groups. As a white lesbian I support black rights, even if they dont support me

  • Is this video supposed to act as conclusive proof that african americans are far less intelligent than the average person ^^? I dont think they are but that seems to be the message of the video.

We generously took them our irrational stigmaz and taboos when we colonised them and indoctrinated them in to religion. Unfortunately, they havent gotten over it yet.

  • Yeah your God is so good, that is why HIV is on the rise in the black community. Black women are catching HIV at an alarming rate, but you blame gays? Educate yourselves and stop believing in dark age fairy tales.

  • Do they feel the same way about interracial marriage, or is THAT a civil right?

  • A Roman Catholic adoption agency has lost its fight for the right to continue its policy of refusing to place children with same-sex couples based on religious principles.

  • Before you spend your money on a weight-loss gimmick or health advice, here is a free tip: The Word of Wisdom works, and it's backed by a pattern of proof.

  • Decades of proof show Word of Wisdom works

  • Does anyone else cringe at the music in this video? xD

It's a bad choice of music. xD

  • Before being called as a Mormon general authority, Elder Christofferson was associate general counsel of NationsBank Corporation, now Bank of America,

  • Hugh Nibley was dying. BYU professors Michael D. Rhodes, John W. Welch, John Gee and others met at Nibley's home to decide what to do with his unfinished book, "One Eternal Round."

  • Most Latter-day Saints know the essential story of the coming forth

of the Book of Mormon, but there are scores of fascinating details

of the saga that are seldom told. Now, author Matthew B. Brown

connects many little-known historical fragments with more familiar

accounts to present the most complete narrative to date on the

restoration and translation of this most important scripture

  • As Bingham arrived in Nebraska, his good friend, Elder Ryan Clark, was arriving in Cleveland, Ohio, to begin his two-year LDS mission. While excited to serve, Clark was deeply concerned for his friend.

"When I left on my mission, he had some strong feelings against the church. He had said some things that made me think I needed to pray for him," said Clark, now a general contractor living in Lehi. "So at the end of each day, I prayed that his heart would be softened."

  • What also amused me was the fact that the article you have posted in your description box also says that people who have a college education are more tolerant than those who do not - as in, more educated people realize that being gay is okay, and uneducated people are more likely to be homophobic xD

  • Did anyone else lol @ this video?

    I mean, seriously. xD

It's BS, man. The article in your description said African Americans were less likely to think being gay was fine - 64% thinking it is morally wrong, not 95%. xD

The stats for being against homosexuality are probably higher in Africans from Africa, though.

Also, this video proves nothing - It only proves that homophobes are so desperate to bash gays that they create fake statistis about black people. xD

  • At that time she was living in the area with her family while her father, now Elder Ballard of the Quorum of the Twelve, was serving as the mission president. YSA also learned that a few years earlier President Brower had also served a full-time mission in the area.

  • Canada Toronto West Mission President Bradford Brower and his wife, Tamara Ballard Brower, and Sheri L. Dew, CEO of Deseret Book and a former counselor in the Relief Society General Presidency, also spoke to the YSAs. Sister Brower connected immediately with YSAs as she recounted some of her spiritual experiences as a teenager in the very same church building.

  • (2) Judge Walker’s decision ignores the compelling state interest in promoting childbearing and childrearing within the context of opposite-sex marriage, and the absence of such an interest in same-sex marriage, specifically ignoring the fact that heterosexual relationships produce many more children than homosexual relationships; and

  • 95% of black people worship a god that approves slavery in the bible. Just saying

  • @GilbertGrape78 and 95% of gays think that they won't get a disease from unprotected sex....

  • @omiolo 30% of Africans have AIDS. Seems that blacks are more stupid that gays.

  • @GilbertGrape78 JAMA August 2008. The number one indicator if someone has AIDS is if they are homosexual. Nice try though.

  • @omiolo Only in America. Look up the statistics worldwide, more black people have aids than any other race. They also have the lowest IQ of any race. And the largest belief in the bible... which endorses slavery by the way. Bascially black people are stupid.

  • @GilbertGrape78 I live in America. Also, gays need to apologize for being the ones who poisoned the blood supply and wiped out whole communities in the 80's.

  • @omiolo lol, obvious troll is obvious

  • @CaptainMatey so OBVIOUS, that you MUST point it out??

  • @omiolo pointing out obvious things is fun.

  • @CaptainMatey I think my point when OVER your head

  • @omiolo Lol, your point when kinda stupid.

    lol, English xD

  • @CaptainMatey naturally, I disagree! I thought the stupidity was when you had to point something out yet proclaiming it was sooo obvious.

  • @omiolo I assumed you were a troll because I believed that there was no way you were serious about what you were saying, considering the amount of stupidity in all of your comments.

You trying to make a valid argument against me because I said you had to be an obvious troll just looks desperate. You're trying too hard.

Also - you're on the internet. Do yourself a favour and learn your memes.

    Adios ;D

  • @CaptainMatey This comment sure is self serving of you!

  • @omiolo I'm getting bored of you. -_-

Usually argueing is funner when the person I'm argueing with has a couple braincells.

  • @CaptainMatey right, because I have NO brain cells? I at least know that is two words.......

  • @CaptainMatey capitalize* lol, typo. See how easy they are to make? ;D

Also, considering that English is not my first language, I think I'm doing a pretty decent job. ;D

  • Shows with gays could lose Florida tax credit

  • WASHINGTON -- John Pilkington's boss wouldn't take no for an answer.

During more than two years as a food runner at an upscale steakhouse in Scottsdale, Ariz., Pilkington says his male supervisor groped, fondled and otherwise sexually harassed him more than a dozen times.

"It was very embarrassing," Pilkington said. "I felt like I had to do something because the situation was just so bad."

  • News Flash: Gay Marriage is the only political issue black conservative figureheads have addressed in the last ten years!

Meanwhile, in the African-American community only 31% of all blacks get married, and 70% of all children are born to single unwed-mothers!

Black religious conservatives should be ashamed of themselves; they need to be called out. They need to worry about the pitiful marriage rate -- the state of the family -- in their own damned community. Pride goes before a fall!

  • Sex Harassment Claims Filed by Men Doubled in Last 20 Years

    AP

The percentage of claims filed by men is now 16 percent of the total, says the Equal Employment Opportunity commission -- to about 12,700 cases in 2009.

  • The marriage had been due to take place in a private villa near the resort of Mombasa but chiefs took action after it was reported in the local press.

"I was shocked... I won't allow it," Chief Hussein Swaleh told the BBC.

  • Local chiefs and Kenyan officials have prevented a planned "gay wedding" in Kenya - where such unions are illegal.

  • The prayers and faith of her family -- and even strangers -- sustained and strengthened Pikus-Pace for what became a difficult but miraculous journey.

  • My family was all going to the temple, putting my name in, and I really, really believe that was how I was able to recover so quickly and go beyond what doctors expected. I know I couldn't be here without Heavenly Father's help."

  • Pikus-Pace was the top female U.S. skeleton athlete when she was injured in an accident that threatened to keep her off her feet for months. Just after she emerged from surgery, her husband, Janson Pace, administered a blessing.

"I know 100 percent that blessing is what did it," she said. "

  • We have to fix this problem.

DC has now pass gay marriage into law.

That means we have the gayest capitol in the world.

Now, people will not be able to look at the Washington Monument, without giggling.

Good job, liberals. Way to screw us on this one.

  • In late December, Steven Monjeza, 26, and Tiwonge Chimbalanga, 20, were arrested and charged with public indecency after they became engaged in the country.

The two pleaded not guilty and were detained pending trial. They are thought to be the first openly gay couple to pursue a public marriage in Malawi, according to the spokesman.

  • In 1930, Christian X, King of Denmark and cousin to Malcolm X (that's literally true) decreed that the marriage between Gerda Gottlieb and Einar Wegener was null and void, when the latter became Lili Elbe after a sex change operation that made him into a woman.

We need to follow this example of history and apply it to our laws.

The only way to restore America to it's former glory is to take ideas from countries that are still run by Kings.

  • "still run by Kings"

yes, of course. Bring back Wayne Gretzky! One of the greatest Kings of them all!

  • Homosexuality is illegal in Malawi and is punishable by prison time and hard labor," Chingwalu said. "Basically, he was promoting a criminal act. This is what this is all about."

If convicted, Sawali would face up to five months in prison, hard labor and a fine of about 2,000 kwacha ($14), police said.

  • Stop being sheep and do your research.

Everyone knows that Xenu sent the gays to America to trick us into buying Uggs and Diet Coke. They use these as control devices, so that they can load us up in their phallic-shaped spacecrafts, so that they can consume us.

It's called math; look it up.

    WAKE UP, PEOPLE!!!

  • Malawian police have arrested a man for allegedly putting up posters supporting homosexuality, which is illegal in the southern African nation.

Peter Sawali was charged this week with conduct likely to cause breach of peace, said police spokesman Davie Chingwalu.

  • Off-screen, opponents of Prop. 8 marched on LDS temples around the country, not just in California. Maybe it somehow slipped past me, but I failed to notice angry hordes of Prop. 8 supporters storming the gates of Episcopalian churches that opposed Prop. 8.

  • Incredible hatred was particularly directed toward the Mormon Church and individual Mormons, perhaps most notoriously in the Home Invasion ad that portrayed Mormon missionaries invading the home of a lesbian couple:

  • FACT: Gay sex improves night vision.

    Source: Internet

  • Instead, the Los Angeles Times applauded a virulent anti-Mormon TV ad and editorialized that "equal rights" campaigns often require years of "in-your-face radicalism."

  • Mr. Kaoma was at the conference and said that the three Americans underestimated the homophobia in Uganda and what it means to Africans when you speak about a certain group trying to destroy their children and their families.

When you speak like that, he said, Africans will fight to the death.

  • -If the poll was only directed at religious groups of course alot of them would oppose it.

-If the poll was directed at society as a whole the stats maybe different.

  • 64% said it is "morally wrong" and 24% said it is "not a moral issue."

That is different from saying that it is "not morally acceptable"--you're just using wordplay to make it sound like something it isn't.

Homosexuality is morally acceptable, and it isn't a moral issue.

The higher statistics of anti-gay sentiment in blacks is just correlated with an increased rate of religion. What else would you expect?

  • New York State Lawmakers Reject Gay Marriage Bill

    AP

New York lawmakers have rejected a bill to legalize gay marriage.

    Thank you HARLEM and QUEENS!

  • The other five percent forgot to come to church that day.

  • I don't even go to church. what percentage am I?

  • You aren't polled.

  • African Americans appear to be the new moral majority in the United States.

  • More than three-quarters of white evangelical Protestants (77%) and two-thirds of black Protestants (66%) oppose same-sex marriage, as do half of white mainline Protestants (50%)

  • "Among those who attend religious services weekly, two-thirds say homosexual behavior is morally wrong, "

and this is the MAIN reason the homosexual agenda wants to shutdown religion!

  • An August 2009 Pew Research Center survey finds that 53% oppose allowing gays and lesbians to marry legally, compared with 39% who support same-sex marriage, numbers that are virtually unchanged over the past year.

  • You got the 95% number wrong according to the source you yourself provided.

  • maybe you should reread the table?

  • @omiolo If anyone cares to check the take they will see that the number is actually 64% and that the numbers were misleadingly manipulated by adding those who were indifferent or didn't take a firm position either way. This was dishonest.

  • actually 64% is the percentage of blacks that find it morally wrong.

Which is different that NOT morally acceptable.

Either way, Blacks do NOT approve of the homosexual lifestyle, and I am sure you know what the majority think when your types compare it to the Civil Rights movement!

  • I'm not sure why you're so hung up on race. Political ideology, church attendance, and age are far better predictors of a person's stance on this issue. Furthermore, if you look at the polling trends over the last two decades they are clearly trending in favor of equality.

  • I am simply trying to help you get things right.

  • By trying to spin the facts to fit your bias?

It's as though you were telling me that if a third of all people were 'indifferent to baseball' that they were actually 'not in favor of baseball'. This is clearly spin intended to mislead and it strains your credibility a great deal to pretend otherwise. Ask yourself if a reasonable person could possibly buy what you are trying to spin. I can't imagine anyone believing that.

  • actually it is an opinion poll!
