  • JYNX - NOBODY KNOWS {PRODUCED BY NUJABES

  • is it full documentary?

  • What is the song played by Hiroto at the end of the video? Please :)

  • I wish rappers today like Drake, Big Sean, Eminem, and more would notice Nujabes and possibly rap over his stuff. RestInBeats Nujabes with J-Dilla! :D

  • @LucarioDXAuraStorm These "rappers" would ruin his music...

  • @ssun8 agreed.

  • i just realized Shingo2 in this looks like he could play as Jin from champloo in a live action champloo movie, though i would not support the idea of making that

  • Shout out from TEXAS in the US. I've been following Nujabes, fat jon, 5 deez, funky DL, substantial and shin05 for years ever since i took that round trip ticket away from manstream radio, let's just say i've never come back lol Thanks to Samurai Champloo i unlocked a new cast of underground hero's in japan (love all you guys!!) >R.I.P< nujabes!!

  • im dying to see the whole performance of homeward journey. :'/

  • I'm often moved to tears by the last 3 minutes. He puts so much emotion into that song. Always reminds me to treasure the little things in life and be humble and thankful that I can still experience them. They can be so beautiful and fragile at the same time.

  • I enjoy the part I understand

  • 最後のuyamaさんのコメントで、nujabesがどんな感じで音楽に向き合ってたかが分かる。古い音楽の要素を今の形でアウトプット。まさにその通りだと思う

  • RIP to Nujabes, bringing a fresh revolution to hip-hop music. This one, man from Japan revolutionized hip-hop beats and true hip-hop at hits heart. Bringing back what East Coast USA did for hip-hop of the past. This documentary goes out not just to fans of his work, but people who want REAL good music. Not mainstream.

  • "Funky DL" to stop the tears I put the soul of the performance could not. I wonder why he had to know the time of death nujabes? This may have led to his now be said to have gone astray. I hear so many times tracing the melody of your future.

  • English translation is appreciated.

  • Has this version of Letter to Yokosuka been released? It sounds far better than the original.

  • @wreiad far better than the original? blasphemy!

  • Uyama Hiroto: "If I say new, it's difficult but his music is filled with elements of old music and I think it's those elements that are outputted and formed. By that meaning I guess you can say it's new. Doing soundwork everyday, it brings back memories of him. Even now I feel like I can hear him saying "let's go beyond this and do it." Though he passed away he's here today so I wish to perform what I'm creating right now to him."

  • @dragonfly5885 :

    Thank you very much!

  • Shing02(2): "Nujabes has his distinctive way of creating his sound whether it be the way he spins sounds, or the way he samples it. There's a nostalgic feeling to it and there's a place where you look back, there's this feeling of always looking forward yet looking back. I think it has these parts of lyricism to it."

  • This isn't the full documentary is it?

  • @imjohnandyouare :

    And why is that?

  • where can i get the song in the beginning of the video? its letter from yokosuka but the flute is slighty diffrent, anyone knows?

  • @probablylikelynot :

I'm afraid you can't find it... i think it's from the live show that day..

Hopefully i'm wrong because i want that part also! :)

  • @probablylikelynot that's not a flute. it's a sax. i'm pretty sure that's uyama hiroto playing letter from yokosuka on his straight alto sax. you can see it at the end where he plays homeward journey

  • @probablylikelynot it was probably Uyama Hiroto playing live

  • i just like his music really.

    i really miss him.

  • R.I.P Nujabes , You inspired me as a producer with your views on music and life.

You knew how to capture the true soul of hip hop and portray it on a large scale, may others learn from you as I am trying to.

  • R.I.P Nujabes forever in our hearts <3

  • Where can we buy the documentary?

  • @Computerjockeys :

Yes, the original is from Nujabes, but in this video Uyama is playing on the track.

It's him playing a Soprano Saxophone in this video :)

He also can play the Piano and Silver Flute...and other instruments...

A very multi-talented guy with soul for music just like Nujabes.

  • @S0ulcreat1ve For me it would be great if he made a Soprano Saxophone version of Homeward Journey. It sounds awesome!

  • the music of Uyama Hiroto is wonderful, I hope he will release something new this year, cant get enough of 'A son of the Sun'

  • @philrf :

I hope so to, can't wait for the release.

  • My God that piece that Uyama Hiroto played at the end moved me from the soul. I wanted to laugh, jump with joy, and curl up and cry all at the same time! Much love to Nujabes. Rest in Peace, but not so deeply that you can't hear the love of your fans.

  • Love this video and the ending, very inspirational. I wish there was a love button right now, as well as english subtitles.

    Nujabes <3

  • @iE4tBe4tz808 :

    Love button should be awesome!

Working on the subtitle problem... hope to translate it..as soon as possible.

  • @S0ulcreat1ve Translate!

  • @Computerjockeys :

Oh i forgot to set Nujabes feat. Uyama Hiroto of the first track, my bad.. O_o

  • @Computerjockeys :

I think It's a live version from the concert.

    But maybe i'm wrong.

  • This was very inspirational, R.I.P. to Nujabes. It's sad that only us fans realize what Nujabes has brought into Hip Hop.

  • @Computerjockeys Yup that's the one and only.

  • <3

  • Is it possible to have the Spoken Japanese subbed please? And thanks, as always, for your awesome upload!! R.I.P Nujabes, I never got to experience you live, but you have helped to make my soul whole. To the others, I hope they go on making music in the spirit left behind.

  • Thank You Nujabes for your beautiful music. It will remain a constant inspiration. RIP

  • Rest in peace Nuja........

  • A lot of insight into his influence to the people, great documentary!

  • Man, what a touching video and i love the way it ended with his flute resting in the final shot. This video just reminds me of how much nujabes has impacted my life with no only his music but his entire presence...I'm sad that I will never get to meet him in person, but I'm glad that I got to know about his existence in my life time.
