  • Very good song

  • In response to the author of this video-it is so well wriiten & our faith is truly clarified. Nice music, too.

  • You've got the Whale to see me through!!!

  • @stevesilva, thanks so much for posting this...as a new Catholic...I was confirmed into the church and rec'd my first communion at this past Easter vigil...I can tell you, as you already know, it is the most wonderful thing I have ever done in my life. I have never been happier, or closer to Christ. Those who are non Catholic, and oppose this, but it is what Jesus gave us...his church and his sacraments. Thanks be to God!

  • The Catholic Church is the Fulness of Christ. This is seen in Her Teachings which do not change(Christ Yesterday, Today and Forever), in the Sacraments, especially the Eucharist where the Glorified Christ is present "Body, Soul & Divinity! Christ's Church has fervently believed this until Luther. See Gospel of John, chapter 6, verses 51 to 69. also Catholics believe in real holiness in us, not "Imputed Justification" Even St. Paul was not certain of his Salvation.

  • thank you LORD !!!!

  • How could that one person dislike this?

    He must be an atheist!

  • Thank You Lord Jesus

  • The name of the other video I replied to says that you believe that The Bible alone is a lie. That is the logic I use to see the situation as one of a man who is in opposition to the gospel. So now you think I'm a Jehovah witness? I'll leave you alone, you obviously have your eyes closed.

  • @nothin2pruv, it was my intention to explain and teach our Faith, not to judge anyone. If you think my eyes are closed, that is only your opinion....

  • "These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."

    --1 John 2:26-27

You have a choice here, dig in, and I'll keep showing you proof, or come to Christ. Realize he wants you because of his goodness, not yours.

  • @nothin2pruv part of your self interpretation problem is revealed in your post here. You believe "I need to come to Christ" when in fact I have....What part of the bible teaches you to be my judge?

  • @stevesilvia: Funny how everyone who quotes 1John 2:26 always thinks it's them the verse it talking about......

  • "The task of interpreting the Word of God authentically has been entrusted solely to the magisterium of the Church, that is, the Pope and to the bishops in communion with him." #100, p.35

  • @nothin2pruv, exactly as I explained to you...I was talking to someone who is a Joh witness, and she said that the Scriptures " sort of interpret themselves..." My only response is, that everybody that interprets the bible now, believes in different and opposing beliefs.

  • @nothin, Martin Luther himself was the first to introduce intentional errors into his Bible. Not being satisfied with St. Paul's doctrine "we are justified by faith," Luther added the word "ALONE" to make the sentence read "we are justified by faith alone." He explains this insertion himself: "I know very well that the word 'alone' is not in the Latin and Greek texts"

  • I don't reply out of hate, although I know I did get angry when provoked either by intention or accident. My original and indefinite intention is that I can provoke you to pray about this, alone to God. Maybe even at least check out what my church teaches, it's only fair between the two of us as I was raised Catholic, but only ever really felt God's presence when I realized he chose me not for my merit, and I couldn't deserve it anyway. He loves me, and he loves you. Bible only means just that.

  • I go to a non-denominational Christian church. We believe in The Bible, in it's entirety, as the word of God. We believe that the word is self explanatory, readable, understandable, infallible. We understand that there is definitely more to be learned when you have a preacher, and we have a leadership that we learn from(none called father). Our contention is that technically, The Catechism, and so Catholic traditions in large, are in opposition to the scriptures posted. I know what it means.

  • @nothin2pruv If you think you "know" what Scripture is teaching, by that you mean everyone "knows" what Scripture is teaching, except, everyone is making the same claim as you are, YET, everyone believes in different and opposing beliefs... Thus, interpreting the bible on your own doesn't work... That is why Jesus gave Peter the "Keys"...

  • @nothin, if you believe that our Catechism is in opposition to Scripture, go and pick a section on line, quote it exactly, give the correct # to the teaching, and paste it here, and prove or show us that it is in opposition to Scripture...

  • So then, what do these passages mean? Are they in line with Catholicism? Please explain it away for me, I'd love to hear it.

Proverbs 30:6 (KJV) 6Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Galatians 2:21 (KJV) 21I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

    Isaiah 42:8 (KJV)

8I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

  • @nothin2pruv, ok now we can discuss. Your first bible quote (Proverbs 30:6) reveals much about your intentions here. There is not the least ground to suspect anything wanting in the word of God; adding to his words opens the way to errors and corruptions. This is called private interpretations.

  • @nothin, The Pharisees read Scripture, yet managed to use, or misuse, quotations from the Bible as an argument against Christ. Today there are thousands of churches, each interpreting the bible for themselves, each claim to be inspired by the Holy Spirit, YET each believe in different and opposing beliefs. Thus you assume we add to the bible, yet the same assumption can be said about your beliefs...That is why Jesus gave the "keys" to Peter...

  • Also, I would NEVER ask someone who thinks that as much of the Bible that I pointed to on the other video is wrong what the truth is. Your arrogant, copy cat approach reveals many things. You are scared of challenging the scripture in the debate as it proves that you are either knowingly against god, or in denial about your delusion. You feel some level above me because you feel your closer to God (is pride appropriate if you know grace(grace means an undeserved gift from God BTW)?). U R wrong

  • @nothin2pruv I am not "challenging the scripture in the debate" because I believe strongly in what it says, not what you think it means...Again, if you have a question, just ask....so far all your doing here is becoming a noise to everyone. I allow the discussion to answer questions.

  • How dare you presume to know the truth more than I because I believe that the WORD OF God is all that one needs for salvation. THE TITLE "SALVATION THROUGH THE catholic CHURCH, THE BIBLE ALONE TEACHING IS A LIE" Says that the pope supersedes the bible moron. If you feel that is a true statement, that the bible alone teaching is a lie, then you think the Catechism is necessary to salvation, which would assume that one cannot have God as Father without also the Catholic church as mother. Tard.

  • Wow. Listen, I only reply to this video(and the one entitled, "Salvation through the Catholic Church, The Bible Alone Teaching Is A Lie") because in my view they are an attack on the word of God. If you felt that way about something I posted I hope you would comment in the interest of my soul, and anyone else's who I may affect with my media. That said, I copied my replies from The bible. I notice you said nothing about the scriptures I pointed to on the other video, THAT IS RESEARCH. Wow.

  • @nothin2pruv Again my reply to you is, if you want to know the truth, just ask me. And again I repeat Your statement that the Pope supercedes the bible is wrong and I never said it, nor do we believe it. That is a lie taught to you by your church...Now that is NOT reasearch....that is gossip....

  • It seems to you that I've created a religion. This is because you would rather believe you can earn a blameless status as a man, from a man. You think God is incapable of saving without a "father"? He IS the only Father, in heaven. If you believe that the pope supersedes the bible, then you are not a hypocrite, just wrong. If you think the bible supersedes the pope, you ARE a hypocrite. If you want to know the truth, don't ask me, read the word of god. I can point to scripture if you ask though

  • @nothin2pruv again, your reply lacks truth and reveals your lack of understanding and research. No where did I say the pope supercedes the bible. Your copy cat reply reveals much....Again I say, if you want to know the truth, just ask.

  • No matter how many rosaries you pray. No matter how many "father"s you have fooled, or how sure you are that you've earned it, you will never deserve to be in the heavenly kingdom without Jesus Christ, the only blameless one EVER, paying your penalty for your being a sinner. I don't need the Catholic religion to make it into heaven, Jesus is the way, not men. The Catholic religion forbids priests to marry, against the bible. Now it comes out they touch kids... huh. Looks like God knows best.

  • nothin2pruv, if you want to know the truth, just ask. You stated you don't need the Catholic Church to make it to heaven...it seems you have created your own religion. Every Church has a minister, a teacher. Even the first Christians had someone to teach them the Word of God...What makes you so different? Unless you have made yourself judge and interpreter of the bible...

  • God bless †

  • well done. Nice choice of music too.

  • Steve, the truth, once more, comes forth from you.

  • Great message, thanks for sharing this video.

  • :-))

  • excellent brother and great keeper of the Faith, the True Faith, keep it up, your reward will be great !!! May God Bless you and that you never leave Him !!!

  • Do you know how many people out there (Christians, no doubt!!!) think that the Pope is the antichrist and the vatican is the center of evil? It has become so confusing for me that I have decided to not practice ANY organized religion at all. I believe in God and Jesus...but I refuse to step foot in another man made church ever again....I will connect to God with my heart only from now on.

  • dont let fear stop you people said that jesus himself had devils in him.....................did he? NO! jesus did come to establish that relationship with Him and mankind his cross redeemed us. his cross opened the door. that relationship is in historical fact the Catholic Church.

  • Just pray and be open to what you are told. You will know by the peace in your heart.

  • @tjttzcspplt thank you. i am catholic, but i must admit, from what i've seen over the yrs in my churches, i am increasingly uncomfortable w/ the catholic leadership...sorry, i'm not trying to insult anyone. it's just the way i feel. :0(

  • I'm with you on that one. The devil attacks the shepherds to scatter the sheep. But, if we love Jesus, we are obedient to His people, and trust in Him. There must be a reason He leaves the "tares with the wheat". He will bless us the more abundantly if we persevere in the face of the sinfulness and apostasy we are enduring. We are supposed to be praying for them, as they are under the harshest attack, and failing miserably in most cases. There are glimmers of hope, though, and they are growing.

  • very beautiful... thank you for sharing

  • TheVeiledCatholic, thank you ! Your comment means a lot to me...I like your channel, it's very thoughtful and different.

  • thank you...GBU
