  • Despite being a Festool addict, i would go for the Flex sander anytime should i need one. It appears to be much more rugged and better designed. Sorry Festool.

  • Porn music?

  • 0:23 bored allready

  • honestly, good finishers dont need that much sanding to make it cost effective, time vs. tool tech.labor always wins...unless it is a custom job where the customer doesnt mind payin for extra shit.

  • awesome powertools !!!!!!!!

  • Just bought one of these last week, far better than the competition....Well worth the investment :O)

  • @moomar1

where did you purchase the Planex? thank you.

  • @steve051968 moomar1 was my old account...I bought mine from a local agent in New Zealand...mines still going strong after over a year of drywall sanding.. they're very well made

  • @moomar1 Yes Festool is expensive but worth and great quality.

  • this tool is plainly n simply cleaner & more professional, meaning the job site is cleaner & safer. Its not supposd 2 cut sanding time, cos a machine never will.

  • U ppl r drongos. 1 says 'a waste of time, hand sander is quiker'. Another says 'if u have 2 sand ur work enuf 2 warrant a tool like this, then (lol) u really should b doing sumthing else.'

Guys ur bloody idiots-ofcourse hand is quiker but its dustier-say no more. And for the other idiot, no matter how gd ur topping is u still gotta sand, if u wana wear a mask & sweat under it & get dusty n dry then hand sand.

  • I've used this at work, waste of time.

    Hand sander is quicker.

Only good thing is the dust extraction

  • I think the designers at festool work very hard to improve and simplify the ergonomics, useage and efficiency of their equipment and I like their ethos, but trying to keep it simple comes at a cost, as it always does. I admire their products but they seem to be getting a bit complicated in engineering terms.

  • Good point ytartapo, however, what you are speaking of is common practice within the residential market. The use of such tools is very common within the COMMERCIAL market where PRODUCTION is equated to dollars and cents! This tool is oh-so NECESSARY, Bro. Peace.

  • It's common knowledge among proessional drywall finishers that if you have to sand your work enough to warrant a tool like this, then (lol) you really should be doing something else.

  • I use a similar tool by portercable to sand Drywall... usual give it a quick go over then go round with light and hand sander to do all the detail stuff and check what the machine sander has done.. speeds things up.. what you're talking about is common knowledge amounst COMMON drywallers..if you want to be something special get ya self a sanding machine and become a professional

  • If you like sanding ceilings and getting covered in dust all power too you...lol,

  • perfect addition to the festool line of sanders.

  • good video, shows the features, but I think would be better with a voice comentary
