  • @jew1772, shut up, he's cute and I bet you're jealous

  • FAGOT

  • this is the worst most misinformative video i've ever seen. the throttle cable adjustment is not for idle speed, even though it will work, don't use that, and the screw this faggot was screwing was NOT the air adjustment, it's the idle screw. so essentially he was doing the same fucking thing with both adjustments. what a fucking idiot, expert village is by far the biggest pile of shit ever. it should be removed from youtube.

  • idle is opposite to what this tool says

  • Gay

  • the cable adjuster is just there to take the SLACK OUT OF THE CABLE!!! the idle screw sets the air and fuel for the idle.

bings are super simple, the only real thing you need to do is clean them, take the throttle cable slack out, adjust the idle, and choke it on a cold start

  • I heard mopeds are notoriously tough to fix other than minor fixes and most mechanics dont know how. Is there any truth to this?

  • what is the original nozzle size ? i have a vespa bravo 12mm carb. Thx:)

  • i cant get my garelli moped to start .petrol is on and the there is aspark but when i peddle it will not fire! what can i do ?

  • a gay kid on mechanics is like a female on mechanics... doesn't work unless its the oven

  • he is thinner than gollum from lord of the rings!!!!!

  • my honda pa50 ii want spark what makes the spark should i sand points or change coil

  • Reeeeeeeeeetaaaaard...

  • wow dude wtf. that was the worse explenation ever. and its wrong!!!

  • what a fag :L

  • Another piece of misinforming garbage brought to you by Retard Village

  • Why dont you do a video " How to hang yourself"

  • you don't know how to make video.dumb

  • I have a moped and I have a problem. my engine is 50cc and to start it you have to kick start it. the problem is I don't have spark !! is it the tarting coil ? pls reply

  • @djjason9993 its either a bad spark plug, bad coil, bad cdi or points, not enough voltage, bad wiring, or like 10 other possible problems. the carb has npthing to do with the spark

  • @CrazySourcePlayer in the carburateur

  • @CrazySourcePlayer if you dont know what your doing why are you even attempting it. your going to screw something up

  • @dnl5649 no worries, i figured it out, its not rocket science:P beacuse i learn by trying

  • @CrazySourcePlayer same here. but ive already learned most mechanics and can usually figure it out by looking at stuff

  • i have a 50cc moped it starts and idles great. but when i drive it and accelerate to much it stalls and sometimes will backfire, if i slowly accelerate it will pick up speed. can anyone help me with what this issue may be?

  • @chinto06 could be sticking valves but thats more usual at low speeds. im really not sure. give it a tuneup and adjust everything and if it still does it mess with it untill it works right or differently, then you may beable to figure out what it is

  • expert fucking what?????

  • fuckn ell couldn't of you showed us on a bike we'd ride not a chicken chaser

  • omg, in that case, its Dumbass village xD

DO NEVER, I MEAN NEVER ADJUST THE IDLE SPEED AT THE FITTING OF THE THROTTLE CABLE! THATS DANGEROUS!

Bing moped carbs dont hav any air intake adjustment, you adjust your idle speed at the screw, which is described in the video (by this dumbass) as the air intake adjustment...

  • The cable adjuster is not to adjust the throttle it is to take up the slack in the cable.

The screw on the side of the carb changes the height of the slide at idle and is an idle adjust crew not an air screw. An air screw is a tapared screw that lets in more or less air at idle only. Bing carbs, which is what that Puch has, do not have an air screw only an idle screw. Bing carbs used on Puchs do not have an idle jet only a main, ther eis no air screw.

  • OMG EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks i got it!

the baterry runs out quick and yea i think ill make a video

  • how fast can you drive in amerika with mopeds?

  • watta xiet ahahaha

  • very good videos,i have vespa piaggio et2 1997 and the automatic chock is not work, and my friend have one four sell from vespa zip 1997 is 2 strocke same is maine ,you thing is fix on our not many tks.

  • hi,good video cool,i have vespa piaggio et2 50cc 1999 and the automatic chock is not work ,my friend have one four sell is from vespa zip 50cc 1997 is same 2 strocke, you thing is go to fix in maine, many tks.

  • do not buy from county scooter, they are being investigated for fraud, check yourselves on Ripoffreportdotcom, search for county imports, and see for yourselves al the issues concerning this company, its really sad what they do to paying honest customers!

  • my moped keeps turning of why?

  • @browntownrecordsllc it's probably your air screw...when you start it can you throttle up and keep it running? it could also be clogged jets or a dirty bowl. message me with a description or post a video and I can help you further.

  • Thats a puch maxi from the 70's or summat lol, i had one years ago for the field, if i remember right there was only one screw on the carb and that was for the idle, i dont think there was any other adjustment screws on it but i was only 12 when i had it lol, i want a video to tune my kx 250 carb lol.

  • just turn the screw till its 'stayin alive'

  • He is talking about lengthening and shortening the cable to affect idle and also to be fair he talks about the slow jet adjustment screw. Some carbs you turn IN to cut the air off, and some carbs you turn OUT to cut the air off. He is right if that is how his particular carb works, I have seen both and none of them comes with instructions to tell you which type it is. RH DSD

  • first you are gay, that all good an fine but screwing IN the idle screw lets the engine run at HIGHER speeds not SLOWER dumbass queer. and besides, small adjustments are changing jets, not twisting screws

  • Total misinformation. This kid has not a clue. DO NOT follow this advice. Sheesh!

  • @mrriden "the further it goes into the elbow of the carb"

    i stopped watching there

  • gooles Bike

  • GAY

  • Lol gay

  • ..shaft that shitty moped into the wastebin faggot!

  • Who the fuck says waste bin anymore?

  • Wtf, this is nonsense.....

The screw on the elbow is to attach the throtle cable to the carburetor, you screw it in all the way, and then screw it out until the cable between the throthle and gas slide is tight. Its NOT mean to pull the gas slide up, thats the job of idle screw!

You can see that by looking at the gas slide in the carburetor while adjusting the idle screw, it will go up/down... The gas slide and gas needle are connected so the gas needle will go up 2 xD

    Stopid How to xD

  • u sound like a queer

  • omg gay mechanics, wtf has the world come to

  • dont ever trust a faget in tight capris with anything that involves an engine.

  • whats the purpose of your useless comments?

dont you have a real life?

Those vids may help many moped greenhorns....

Just shut up,if you dont want to say something helpful...

greetz from a german moped fan....

  • germans are all nazis.

  • nice capris

  • such a prick

  • u dont hav an air adjustment. its a fuel adjustment... screw it in and it goes richer!

  • now if u relly new how to tune the carb u would no that ters a screw 4 the petorl 2 dumass

  • just so everyone knows, not all moped riders are homosexuals,

  • Bradley is quite correct(without the insult would b better tho)The mixture screw is seperate and adjusts the air to fuel ratio and this can be done using a colourtune which is a glass spark plug top and it shows the colour of the burn,The burn should be an electic blue colour when the engine is warm.Yelloy means too rich.

  • so you mean if I do that . my speed will get higer

  • Comment removed

  • is it bad to run a moped with the govnor off a 49cc moped 2 stroke is it bad or not?

  • gay much rofl

  • GAY

  • WHAT A DUMBFUCK the nut on the top adjusts the freeplay in the throttle cable and the IDLE screw adjusts the idle by raising the slide slightly

  • All these how to fix a moped vids are like: how to adjust the carb, how to remove the carb, how to assemble the carb, how to install the car, how to remove a spark plug... seriously..

  • you cant see it !!

  • @ryan12381793

    innapropriate -.-

  • wow..

  • damn you idiot, that you still haven't removed your video!

Bing 12mm carbs as many have said before me don't have an air ratio screw!

people, listen to puchdiesel, he's right.

btw this is the dumbest carb to use as an example because modern mopeds do have air ratio screws and many others

  • aaaaaaaahahahahahha

    I LOVE THE COMMENTS

    SO TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Haha, this is so hilarious. The only thing he did was adjust the idle speed and cable slack. The adjustment at the cable is not used to adjust idle, it's used to adjust cable slack. And the screw on the side is idle, not mixture. What an idiot.

  • u lot shut up! i really helped me fixing ma gpx 750!

    10x mate

  • gay get a real motorbike

  • The bottom screw is NOT the air ratio screw. Bing 12mm carbs don't even have that. It IS the idle speed screw. The in the video so called 'idle speed' screw is to adjust the slack of the throttle cable. Maybe you can adjust the fuel/air mixture by changing the jet which is inside of the floater bowl. A lil'bit of finetuning can be done by raising or lowering the throttle needle.

  • Thank you, This was helpful!

  • you suck omfg god

  • omg..

  • this cock sucker has no idea at all

  • OMG stupid!!!!

  • get a life homo

  • your a dumb ass

  • Merci!! ;p

  • homo

  • THIS SUCKS!

  • wtf... he said the idle screw was the air adjustment screw... what a dumbfuck. i have the same carburetor and it doesnt have that elbow shit. and that screw is an idle screw

  • I have a moped and want to learn about it. so your video is a great help, thank you

  • dude all these expert village videos are common sense shit, wtf...

  • they have 10212139289283 videos of shit. pure shit

  • yep

  • hell yeah OK JUST PICK UR CARB SCREWS AND U MADE SMALL ADJUSTMENTS YEAH FAG OFCOURSE ITS DIFFERENT ADJUSTED NOW.THE DEAL IS TO SAY HOW TO ADJUST THAT YOU GOT TO MAKE UR FUEL NOT RICH NEITHER POOR U FAG....

  • what no float height or jetting

  • an overcooked piece of shit engine

  • You can adjust the float hight by bending the valve lift leaver thing. And of course there is jetting with a moped carb

  • why is this kid wearing his jeans like tom sawyer

  • he=fag

  • why does my moped wind up at a stop light have to hold the brake to bring it normal.

  • can you make a video about 4-stroke mopeds?

  • hes wrong..you cant start with the air screw right out it would fall out..screw it right in then listen to the engine as it screws out..it will run fine then get worse as it comes out further..then turn back in half way between runnung bad when out and runnig bad when in and you will find the correct setting..

  • Luckily, those type of moped are nice and simple. So most folks can service their own. But keep you moped in good condition, so you get the best price for it when you trade it in for a bigger bike. As soon as possible! ;-)

  • carb adjustment is a pain the neck. there is no perfect setting.

the only way my motorscooter starts is if i set the idle screw to rich and i have no idea how the air scew is set in conjunction. i set it so i'm able to start it and it doesnt cut off. it smells very rich, but there is nothing i can do about it. at least it runs.

  • that is because the carb is a guessing instrument unlike fuel injection carbs use the air to draw out the fuel using a venturi effect(a suction effect)

  • fuel injected carbs?

isnt fuel injection a totally different system than a carb? like a car?

  • start with it in, and then come out to get to the factory setting.

  • Does he sound gay or do all americans talk like that

  • naw he sounds pretty gay.

  • nah man he doesnt just sound gay he is

  • I think he like's his screwdriver

    :-) !!!

  • wow u wont 2 get better bike 1st

  • omg, ur a fucking idiot, theres a screw on the side that adjusts the idle u idiot. btw r u gay

  • this was not helpful at all, he dosent know jack about carbs.

  • "all the way out" on the fuel air mix. Great. So... remove the adjustment screw completely I guess. "Expert village" my ass. Start all the way IN.

  • you start all the way out because all the way in is no air at all.

  • all the way in is not going to choke the system completely of air. never has for me, and probably never will.

  • go look at my vid and tell me whats wrong with my bike. it doesnt even idle anymore lol. it will start and die.

  • the ppl below me ride mopeds? hahahahaahah. get something with power.

  • ur a fag! and u dont kno shit about mopeds or carburators!

  • whenever people give me shit about my moped, i tell em what kind of gas mileage i get. shuts them the hell up every time.

  • what kind of mileage do you get

  • 120 a gallon...about.

  • wow. mopeds get what 80-100 and a r6 gets about 50-60. well ill take an r6 and lose about 30mpg and not look like a fag and actually have some POWER!

  • Choosing a moped or a motorcycle doesn't make you gay or straight...it's just transportation.

You must have a small penis and just want attention.

  • mopeds are soo hot!!

    i got a citta gilera

    it makes me fakking hot

  • then fuck off and dont buy one. sad dick head!

  • i didnt understand very well, he used words hardly could describe any thing.

  • that dude is wearing capri pants......

  • sorry folks but that guy does not know what he's talking about.

  • thx man !

  • Queer Eye for the Moped Rider?

  • and um, um, an ummm ummmmm

  • This is very wrong , the wire should be set so that the throttel go all the way down , and can go all the way up . This doesn't effect idle speed at all!

The so called "air intake screw" is infact the idle speed screw , if you move it inwards the idle speed rises and outwards it will be lowered .

Don't learn out stuff that you don't know about.

  • @ Saxappealed

Yea, you're right. The elbow is used to get rid of slack in the cable, and the screw is for idle adjustment. Most Puch bing carburetors I've come across never had a fuel/air mixture screw.

  • you are noob!!!

  • congratz in finding 1 screw lols...

  • uh... no...

you have and air/fuel mixture screw... and an idle control screw....

  • Rollingrobert is right. The screw he's turning is the idle adjustment. The throttle cable elbow is for cable slack only. This dude is very wrong. Air flow is consistent, dictated by the carb's air intake opening and the amount of resistance it meets (e.g. air filter). DUMB!

  • bullshit.. your ideal speed?

    crap

  • you are wrong

  • how dare you

  • how many times does he say "um" like 100

  • those wo dont know that when they are born, can get a homsetralla(scooter)

  • ahhhhhhhhhh no..!

  • Dude, your videos are great. It helped me fix my old vespa. Thanks very much.

  • you dont know shit !!

  • that was BULLSH!T! that 2nd screw is for idle speed! you shouldnt adjust the cable tight to get a higher idle!

you just adjust the cable to have about 1 or 2mm play in it!

if you want a different mixture, you adjust the needle or the jet thats inside.

  • fucking gay.... :S

  • Lol..

  • Not all moped work this way man. ;) Beware not to overdo this, you might use more gaz!!
