How nice it would be that other countries would follow the example of your country. I used to live in USA and now in Chile and Chile needs desperately to do something better about its social, political and economic system to really be a better country than it is right now.

@DVA5212, it is incredible... there are 4 million of your people and you all have learned how to live. Why don't you show the rest of the world how great you have evolve? Also, it is true that inheritance does not exist and the state takes it all? for example, if there is someone rich in the family that just passed away... who gets the money... the family or the state? This is something really curious and would love to know. By the way, in Chile.. believe me, they have a lot to learn. Cheers!

@andres1963 The family inherits, if there are no children, then their siblings, or nephews and nieces inherit, if there aren't any siblings, the inheritance goes to relatives of the grandparents. However if the deceased has no family, he/she can testament it to whomever s/he chooses. If there is no testament, and no children, the inheritance goes to the state.
