@TheVLButler- I fundamentally agree, HOWEVER the reason Christina Aguilera gets so much praise is because she is soulful but belongs to a race who usually have lighter, poppier (weaker) voices. People applaud Adele, Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone and males like Robin Thicke all the way back to Elvis for sounding "soulful" but not so much Jazmine Sullivan, Melonie Fiona, etc. That's because to a certain extent "it's expected blacks can sang," but whites "sing". Every1 loves soulful whites : (

@oxoxchikioxox Have you ever seen her father? If not you cannot decide whether she is mixed or not. There are caucasians in Ecuador. It being colonized by Spaniards in the past. Fact is Christina identifies with white and people see her as white. Even in her movie "Burlesque" they made comments about her being white. Its obvious she knows she wants to be who are you to tell her? The fact that she's blonde, blue eyed and mostly caucasian looking tells me that her father was probably white.
