  • Thanks dude.

  • So much steps though

  • Really helpful video I bought the expensive magpul mount and a nice cobra sling but no wrench, so I was fairly aggravated cause I can't install it.. but your video gives me the confidence to buy a wrench and do this Thx Bro.

  • Is it a necessity to remove the buttstock to get the buffer tube off? I live in in a commie state that requires adjustable stocks to be pinned (redundant, I know).

  • @Miroku1226 nah, you should be able to get it off without removing the buttstock

  • LMAO Dude, your crazy!

  • He said spring and nut . Nutspring

  • Thanks a lot. I would have lost both springs if it wasn't for your help

  • For the love of God, thanks. LOL Now I know how to add my magpul ambi mount.

  • Great video really answered my questions thanks

  • Ahhh you helped me out a bunch!

  • I got a single point that just clamps over the buttstock. It took me less than two minutes to put it on with nothing other than an allen wrench. Cost me about $25. Good video though. I learned a lot more about the small parts on my AR. Thanks!

  • the wrench is made by tapco available for under 10 dollars. i simply left my ar together and undid the castle nut, the slowly turned my buffer tube out replaced the mount plate and put it back together. trying to to lose any tiny spring,, it worked fine for me took about 2 mins.

  • Helped me install my AR-15 Single Attachment Sling Endplate Black Vltor Fits H&K Type Loop Slings Ambidextrous. I used the tool you displayed to purchase, but I somewhat scratched my gun and bent the spring that holds the bullet in place. [the small one that goes in front of the plate]

  • Thanks Brother, Appreciate the help. Made my life a bit easier today.

  • bro i have a dpms build in its lovely with no malfunctions as of yet...i learned a lot from you even posted my own vids because of u....ne way...i wanted to ask you about your buffer tube have you up graded it to a heavy buffer tube n spring or is the original one still working for you?...my last question is have u replaced you trigger group, barrel n bolt assembly or does the dpms products hold their own? holla back asap thanks

  • @cpercival02 buffer tube spring, trigger and bolt are all holding strong for me. Haven't had any need to replace them. Thanks for the comment

  • Thanks man, I appreciate your video, I needed to put one on my M&P AR 15 and did not know how to even begin, your video showed me exactly how to do it and I also like your personal opinion on what type of wrench to use and also about the price of the sling mount...

  • not to hate but you sound young dude haha

  • count how many times he says for the love of god JK ha but this is a very good vid and it helped me put my mount on also u dont have to use that AR tool i use a punch and it worked great

  • Are you a freaking retard?!?!

  • @mattramsay24 He's a half retard dude... Never go FULL retard!

  • thanks for the video, I bought a panther arms ar-15 last week your vids helped me alot ! Take care :)

  • I lost like my springs like 3 times...Had to trim one down cause it snagged when I took it apart, and my guns tiny spring actually holds in the takedown pin...it was a mess, but I got it done lol

  • My question has nothin to do with the sling mount installation, but what do you think is better and why; a regular red dot sight or a holographic sight?

  • u shoudnt shoot steel cased ammo out of a AR

  • @luke13andress word now you tell me

  • Great video. Especially liked the non-editing of errors. Made me feel a whole lot better about my many goofs. Used your video as a little step-by-step to install my own single point sling mount. Worked "like a charm."

  • i had to take mine to c the gun smith. the castl nut was stuck on like it had been welded. had 3 guys working to get it off. they wanted to cut it. but after heating it an spraying it down ,they got it off with chanellocks. sadley now i dont even like the single point sling. good vid anyway

  • dude i toataly bent the tip of that small spring, think that will be a problem? dunno if its that important : /

  • wow this looks like a bitch to do, but sweet when its on.. lol

  • Your video was very well done and helpful!! Just installed my single point sling mount today! Thanks for the help. Also I really like the short vertical hand grip you have on your AR. Where can I find one of those?

  • @Wildcat1306 Thanks! you can find them on ebay, amazon, or various online guns shops. It's a Magpul MOE RVG.

  • thanks krazyk. i installed mine tonight, and my spring retention pin shot across my kitchen! after moving my fridge, and scratching my floor to hell, i found the pin... all said and done tho... its in and looks great!

  • @crapsnack87 haha nice. Glad ya found it

  • If you twist the castle nut all the way to the back of the buffer tube then you can install the buffer tube detent (spring and notched thingy) without having to use the other hand to hold the base plate and spring together because there is enough room to get it on, then you simply tighten the castle nut while holding the baseplate down. This way you only have to do one thing at a time.

  • @passout18 Thanks for the info! That's exactly what I was thinking of trying but didn't know if there was a certain order like he shows in the video.

  • Thanks for the video.

  • Great video brother, I am going to attempt to install one on my ar soon, and your video will be most helpful

  • Great video brother, I am going to attempt to install one on my ar soon, and your video will be most helpful

  • Thanks for a very helpful video. You made it look easy and gave me the confidence to install my own end plate sling loop. Safe shooting. Stay free.

  • Thanks a lot, you were a great help.

  • Jeez, I think I would rather own an AK47 when it comes to little part management!

  • @1bentley4ever haha, yeah... you can't compete with the Ruskies when it comes to simple weapons

  • @krazyk86cu No you can't, but you can beat them on refinement!

  • @krazyk86cu haha very true.

  • @krazyk86cu

yes very much so, russian brain can only handle so much, the m16 is too complex for simple russian brain to comprehend

  • @xDIEHARDxUSMCx
