  • Bad recording

  • I would never let my wife drown,or a stranger. How can someone leave a woman with that face of hers, out to drown? What kind of a sick psyhopath would do that?

And if Natalie did in fact sleep with Chris Walken,it does not make her a bad person.I say good for her, though she could have made better choices in men.Robert was sick loser who did not deserve a woman like that.

    Reverse mortgage loser.

  • bless his heart..he is cheesy. natalie was awesome. true hollywood movie star.

  • According to Suzanne Finstad's book, Natalie was very insecure about that wedding scene in Brainstorm because she felt she wouldn't look as beautiful as a young bride. But I think she looked fantastic. :-)

  • This video makes me sad. He talks about his jealousy and how much he loves her. The jealousy was certainly at play on the boat the weekend she died. Marti Rulli makes a good point on her blog -- RJ and Natalie often invited co-stars on the Splendour (like Sean Connery from Meteor). It was not unusual that Natalie invited Chris Walken that weekend. And Natalie left Chris alone on Splendor with RJ for a most of a day. If she was having an affair, why would she leave him alone with her husband?

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I remember seeing this interview a few weeks before Natalie's untimely death. So sad, that their life together was cut short. RJ, Natalie and their children deserved a long happy life together.

  • @ccsophiafan He killed her. FYI, they only had 1 child together. The father of her other daughter is Richard Gregson.

  • @vanessalove182 I am getting really fed up with your unfounded accusation's against RJ. There was never ANY evidence showing that Natalie was murdered Her untimely death was a ACCIDENT. And don't come back spouting the lie's from that trashy book GNGS. If you can't recognize lie's, by someone out to make money on a tragic accident , then I pity you. Also, FYI RJ is Natasha's legal father, through adoption. RJ loves her and wanted her to be with her sister's. Gregson agreed.

  • @ccsophiafan You're an idiot. RJ never adopted her. What sisterS? Wagner is her former stepfather and the father of ONE of her 3 half-sisters (Richard Gregson has other children). Robert Wagner killed Natalie Wood. His book is full of lies that can be proven. Some to cover up his murdering her, others to build himself up because of all the gay rumors that have been published about him.

  • @vanessalove182 I will not engage in baseless name calling with such a ill-informed person as you apparently are. Only those people who really have nothing to say, which is based on fact, would stoop to such childish behavior. RJ did adopt Natasha, with Richard Gregson's blessing. Also, it was specificly stated in Natalie's will, that she always wanted Natasha and Courtney to be raised by RJ and in the same household, if anything ever happened to her.

  • @ccsophiafan I didn't say Natalie didn't want her to be raised by Courtney. I said he never adopted Natasha, which is fact. You obviously don't have a damn clue as to what you're talking about so this conversation is pointless. You defend a murderer.

  • @vanessalove182 See if you can comprehend this. It is a fact, that Natalie stated in her will, her wish for Natasha and Courtney to be raised together, if anything happened to her. After Natalie died, RJ and R. Gregson had to take care of the legalities, to carry out her wishes. Gregson lived in Europe and RJ had to have parental rights in the US, if there was every an emergency involving Natasha. Thus the adoption and name change to Natasha Gregson Wagner. That is a fact.

  • @ccsophiafan I KNOW she lived with him and what Natalie's will said, stop repeating yourself. There was never a legal adoption, end of story.

  • @vanessalove182

Like ABBA, Richard Gregson never returned to the U.S.

  • @ccsophiafan If he loved her so much, why did he refuse to search for her?

  • Wagner profited off a book slandering natalie wood and there's plenty of evidence and witnesses

  • So sad....THREE IS A CROWD!

  • "and his wife Natalie Wood" - REALLY?!

  • If there was time travel the first thing I'd do is go back and stop her from getting on that boat!

  • Robert Wagner is a murderer. A sociopath. Dennis Davern took DECADES to get his story out, from the sheer horror of it he became an alcoholic. He feared for his own life { as well he should have }. Finally he let the book come out. It is a totally believable book. Wagner flipped, this was the second time Natalie was {likely} being unfaithful. She had an affair with Warren Beatty during their first marriage. Wagner was jealous of Chris Walken. There's the motive.

  • The "Dream Couple" But why on earth would a woman bring a "Co-Worker" home for the holidays? I could see if she wanted to hook him up with her sister or if he had a girlfriend to accompany him...but THREE is a crowd!!!!

  • Oh please!!! I am so sick of RJ haters just because Natalie died on their yaght. It's obvious that they loved each other very much. If someone can provide one VALID reason he would have to murder her than I will back you 100%. However, it is a PROVEN fact that Natalie was intoxicated at the time of death. I believe him when he said she retired to bed and he stayed up with the other guys and continued talking and drinking, guys do that you know, but it does not mean he was a killer!!!!

  • @bubbam20 People have reason to believe this because there are so many things that simply do not make sense. For instance, he hesitated to call the coast guard. If you were truly worried, wouldn't you call asap? Secondly, she was found in the water. The one thing she truly feared all her life. She was dressed in her nightgown and that meant she did not mean to go ashore. She was intoxicated - so what! They were ALL drinking. Plus, there was a shoddy investigation. That's why.

  • @stephsayss I remember this very accurately from the news back then. He did not call the coast guard right away because the dinghy was gone, so he thought she had gone back to the island. When he had verified she was in fact not back at the restaurent, he then got nervous and called the coast guard. Think about it....Natalie is gone... the dinghy is gone. He was with Chis, and Chris verfied that RJ and him were together the entire evening since they got back from dinner.

  • @stephsayss Also, alcohol makes people do strange things, it makes you brave. I believe the dighy was hitting the yaght that night, she got agitated because it's the most annoying sound if you think you are going to hear it all night. She got up to try to tie it up and lost her balance. Come on!!! Do you know how many times this happens???? The only sad part is most people live to tell their story. But i'm not about to blame a widow because he was talking and he did not her screams below.

  • @bubbam20 I don't want to argue this but I have read a great deal on the investigation and there are so many loopholes, I can't even. I can understand if RJ waited like 10 minutes to call the coast guard but FOUR HOURS? There is no explanation in the world that can justify that. NONE whatsoever. Search the boat in 10 minutes. Not there? Where else could she be? The water! It's not exactly rocket science. They guys were probably worried about what would happen if the media found out.

  • @stephsayss I'm not arguing but I will defend innocent people. Initially the investigation concluded that the coast guard was called within a hour of her missing. This is per all person's on board the yaght and the individual's at the island that RJ called to verify if she had gone back to the Island. Mr money whore Dennis Davern the "Captain" if you can call him that, since he was drunk as a skunk continues to change his story that it was 1 hr to 4hr's just to make more drama and more money.

  • @bubbam20 I'm just going to assume you're a troll because you obviously know nothing about that night.

  • @stephsayss Haa Haa! That's what I thought no more rebuttals. Well I'm done. Thankyou for the most enchanting conversation. I'm a gentleman who perfers not stoop to name calling. You might try going back to school on proper etiquette on the subject of debate. But please!!! Just do me a favor don't go into to detective work.

  • @bubbam20 Name calling? But saying Dennis Davern is a "money whore" is okay according to you. If you think there's an explanation for RJ waiting 4 hours to call the coast guard, then I'm not even going to bother with furthering this conversation. Facts like that need shouldn't need convincing. As for you, just do me a favor and don't teach grammar. Using a thousand explanation marks does not help your argument.

  • @stephsayss LOL!!!!!!!!!! Nice try darlin' it's actually exclamation marks not explanation marks. Just FYI... I need no help with my argument since I know i'm right. So long.....

  • @bubbam20 I'm not going to say she wouldn't have gone to retie the dinghy because maybe she did but I still say that her fear would have been present and that she did not go out there willingly. She was afraid of doing the bathtub scene in Splendor, let alone a deep ocean @ night. I think that the men know a lot more then they are letting on. They refuse to talk about that night and they were not questioned properly at the scene. & Wagner said they were arguing that night. It doesn't make sense.

  • @stephsayss I know she was afraid of water at one time, but I do remember a interview back in the late 70's I think it was the Tonight Show but I remember her saying in an interview that since her and RJ had purchased the yaght she was learning to love the water again. Also, I just can't seem to comprehend that all 3 men were involved in this. And you are right they were arguing that night, so why would they all cover each other up? Especially if they were arguing Chris and RJ that is.

  • @bubbam20 alcohol does make you do strange things, like letting your wife drown

  • Great video about the beautiful couple

  • He sounds like a psycho. I remember when she died... and we were all like, wait, what??? Made NO SENSE. Something definitely suspicious there. Sorry Hart fans - love that show, too, but think about it.

  • Thanks for posting this. It's also interesting to see a very young Maria Shriver doing the interviews in this piece . . .

  • So sad knowing that Natalie didn't have long to live after this - thanks to phony Prince Valiant.

She was a legend and gorgeous, talented woman.

  • is it just me or did natalie wood have the cutest smile??!!

  • @Lightner445555555555 No it's not just you, she really does.

  • 1:52-2:00 What? Is that true? SHE WAS VERY LUCKY. I also want that the same thing happens to me with Ben Barnes... :)

  • what makes this so sad is to realize that its very shortly before her death...weeks maybe (11/81). Watching this you wish you could warn them.

  • Someone told me this aired one week before she drowned

  • "Warn them" warn HER.

  • when he says when two people are in love with each other... Did you see him gulp? It seems as though he was lieing to me. what do you think?

  • I agree.

They were terrible for each other. He is a liar and a coward.

  • vanessa~I don't know who or why you were given 6 thumbs down~but I am totally in agreement with you. Wish I could give you a THUMBS UP. If you haven't already~read the comments on the video Natalie Wood & Robert Wagner.

  • Thank you.

Some are going psycho and bash anyone who tells the truth in Natalie's defense. The people giving me thumbs down are either a group of fanboy lunatics or a psycho who creates multiple accounts and tries to hide my comments when I post the facts.

  • @vanessalove182~I know~It just truly boggles the mind why some people do not and cannot accept the truth. Why they choose to believe a lie is beyond me. I also believe the majority of the public believes this coward murdered his wife. These insecure idiots return to these episodes just to read comments. If they don't believe, they give thumbs down. Someone already gave you a TD on this one~but that's okay~I took it away and gave you a THUMBS UP.

  • Very poignant to hear him talk about how much he loves her, and how the separation is so hard--when she allegedly was just starting an affair with Walken. Weird, also, that Maria Shriver, uncredited, is interviewing them--an overlap that brings Natalie into our time somehow. The whole thing is haunting--and always so sad, because she was so gifted, so intelligent and witty, and so lovely...

  • Impossible to put into words how stunningly beautiful Natalie is. May she rest in peace.

  • Very, very sad hearing them talk about being so happy and she would soon die...I remember that day like it was yesterday, as I'm sure you all do too! Thanks so much for posting this Stephsayss

  • Amazing archival footage with a young Maria Shriver doing the interview.

I just want to turn back the sands of time and tell her to not go on that damned boat!

They were a dream couple. :)

  • Wow- a great find! Aside from the technical blips here and there looks very current... and its makes me wonder about that fateful night Natalie was lost. What a great loss. There should be an AFI lifetime achievement award given to her postumously -she really contributed so much to American cinema

  • WOW. This was such a rare find, thank you for sharing this :) Shows what a great mother Natalie Wood was..the part where she stressed how unacceptable it'd be if both she & RJ were to have starred in Hart to Hart together that "nobody would be home with the children.." that it'd be impossible.

She passed at the same age as my mother..and her birthday is close to my mother's birthday..so so sad, Natalie Wood's untimely death..

  • This is a precious piece of video tape.

  • It really is. Do you have any idea what year this was videotaped?

  • Just a few months before her death, so I'm assuming 1981.

  • 1981, not long before she died.

  • Wow! This is great! Thanks for putting this on!

  • this is so touching to see. it was televised about a week before she died. thanks for sharing.
