these guys give sunnis a bad name ala hazrat radhi allahu anhu said qawwalis are not to be listened to. but some refuse to accept this advise and try to legitimize this by saying khawaja ajmeri listened to qawwalis. ala hazrat has also answered this question with the following qawwali is only for ahl (people that qualify ) meaning they get intoxicated with the words not the music. where as common folk get intoxicated with music not the words. take the music away then see how they react

Considering that Faiz Ali Faiz's father played the harmonium for Nusrat Sahaab's Qawalli group and was close to the Fateh Ali Khan family, its natural that they share a similar style.

Thank you very much for loading this video. This is the first time I have listened to Fiaz Sahib, I am very impressed. I think he is the best Qawal I have heard in a very long time, possibly the best out there today. He certainly betters Rahat. Can I ask how you rate him?
