There is nothing remotely funny about this video. This is a very distressing condition called hydrocephalus where the fluid in this poor soul's brain is overpressured. It is treatable with a drainage tube known as a shunt.
The condition is also seen in adults, although there is no visible swelling.
Any of you out there making fun of this poor infant or any others who are born with physical or psychological defects really should consider looking at your own low self esteem

It seems that India brings more deformed babies out then the United States. The worst deformities seem to come from remote India and these men talking in the background seem to having a fun time with the little hydro fetus..
Yes, every newborn with hydrocephalus can have a ventriculostomy (in some cases) or can get a shunt (a drainage device) which will help the fluid flow, and, in time, the baby's head will be normal. The effects on the baby depend on the time when the shunt is placed, on the condition of baby in general and on the condition of his/her brain. Sometimes, the shunt can be removed, because it's not needed anymore. Every shunted child CAN LIVE and can have a normal life.

Parents got a second opinion. I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus and given a shunt. Now at age 41 I'm still alive. Married. 8 year old daughter. I live in poverty per se, nobody will hire me, but we struggle by. Enough to afford this lame internet connection.
