y no one admits that we maltese cant do a decent video and a decent song instead we cheer for this crap , take it from vodka and on again off again, funny thing the writers talks about the song like they made a hit :s
you mean highest selling locally. i meant abroad, it was mentioned on xarabank a couple of yrs back. believe n peace was the highest selling esc single in europe. which even beat chiaras the one that i love.
Lawrence Gray had deserved to win the Song for Europe with "The Right Time". Had he won, he would have placed far better for sure.
Lawrence also deserved to win in 2003 with "Why Not". but that year Lynn Chircop won.
I think Lawrence Gray deserves a chance at Eurovision. He deserves to go....and he has such a lovely, unique and powerful voice. He is a phenomenal artist and with the right song could bring victory to Malta at the Eurovision....or maybe he and Chiara could go together.
it doesnt matter who they were related to... they were frsh at the time and malta needed a change and times three were it. they get so much crap but realistically were far from the bottom of malta s esc entrants. not to mention record sales. at one poingt they were the highest selling maltese esc artist abroad. even beat chiara.
loffffl even lynn's to dream again was the highest selling ...but that is because who wins msfe will get support and interest from the maltese...but this doesn't mean that this song isn't shit...it's a disaster with a disastrous performance...that year lawrence grey should have won with the right time but at that time he was a 'laburist' therefore he didn't win
well what do you expect. one lass related to the prime minister, one to an (ex) president of the republic. in arabia they call it 'wasta'. in english we call it nepotism!
Perhaps one of the worst Eurovision entries ever. Three talentless girls, who can't sing and dance well, and how this got picked over Lawrence Gray's "The right time" I'd love to know.
What's odd is, this got 30 something points in 1999 for a bad performance, yet Fabrizio only got 1 point this year with a better song and haf-decent performance.
I'll disagree on both counts, the song was just typical Euro-pop and his performance... proved me just how out-of-tune you can be. Was he even listening to the song as he was performing it?!
Diana is amazing , where is she now ...anyone got her number!!!!! sure Ive seen her in eaton place !!!! girl done good !!!

It is like a mixture of spice girls and sugababes music which in the charts go really but guess people wanted something different at eurovision
