  • THAT FIRST PICTURE I COULDNT STOP STARRING AT SHE WAS AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL...WOW HER SMILE MAKES ME SMILE

  • Lol long intros is how songs use to start back in the day (i.e poppa was a rolling stone)

  • That was THE longest intro in the world! smh LBVVS. It doesn't start until 1:30 something...

  • Never new this one???????????????

  • Such a beautiful person

  • Say it Loud Always, I'm Black and I am Very Proud; seems pounding of hate still circles us, Natural Beauty, Talented Whitney Houston will stay alive in my heart, spiritually speaking as spirits do live on, Life is Beautiful, Life is Whitney Houston +

  • Ok I have a response to those who are saying, "One dies a millions cries. A million dies no one cries." about the death of Whitney Houston. This is so disrespectful. Ten times out of ten, you weren't thinking about the millions who are dying. And when someone did show deep concern about the million dying, you labelled him a child molester, you stripped him of his fame and fortune, you killed his name, you killed him, and is STILL trying to kill his legacy. So what's really the problem?

  • So beautiful... We love you Whitney!

  • She was stunningly gorgeous at a very young age..... Some peoples have no respect for the dead and it's because they don't have any respect for themselves. I simply ignore the remarks that I have come across. Maybe someday they will come up with a way to prevent folks from coming onto webpages that someone have been considered enough to share with real fans.

  • love of my life and so many other people around the world

  • When reading negative & angy comments for events that one expects Kindness, Compassion & Charitable Empathy, it sickens one worse than the event itself.

In ths time of sorrow, blessings to your family & friends, RIP Whitney. Thanks for all your wonderful songs. Juli ;)

  • So wonderful to read all the positive comments one after another. Whitney was truly an extra precious gift to this world. She is dearly missed.

  • STUNNING!!

  • She was Not died while taken drugs, she died clean and clear, she was ready for the big night but GOD wants her and called her.. So please you people pay some respect to death we all going there and no one knows how he will be died .. Whitney was in drugs for years but came clean and tried to have her life on track again but she was struggling and her Time has came along

  • @uksamful No disrespect uksamful I understand where you coming from but I must say God is the life giver not the life taker. I just dont undersand why people call God the almighty and loving merciful God but in the same since says he takes the life of loved ones I am pretty sure God gets tired of taking tha blame. I am just wondering what is Satan's job then.

  • Her Smile, Her Smile, Her Eyes, Her Eyes

    GORGEOUS

  • Every amazing high note makes me shed a tear..

  • Even than you could conclude that star is coming!

  • God how I miss you Nippy. :'( I love you <3

  • Disco Down!

  • IT REALLY IS UPLIFTING TO READ ALL YOUR GRACIOUS COMMENTS BORN OF OUR LOVE FOR THE MUSIC AND THE SOUL FROM WHICH IT CAME. WHAT WE SHARE IS SO

DEEP. I FEEL LOVE FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU. WHICH IS BETTER THAN THE ANGER THAT WAS EATING ME UP DAYS AGO. THE MEDIA AND HATERS WILL FADE

AS THE DAYS GO BY. BUT WHITNEY WILL CONTINUE TO SING FOR AS LONG AS

    MAN HAS HIS EARS...AND HEART. R.I.P. W.E.H.

  • This song definitely has that '70's sound.

  • Wow, I have never heard this song. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  • Pastor Shirley Ceasar has been fierce in defending Whitney since her passing. She said no one

know Gods ways. The path we walk is part of the plan. That Whitney was always anointed.

Reading the haters I realized that God wouldn't be anything like that about anyone's addictions.

Another issue but life is made up of them. "Just Whitney" "I Look to You" to me are songs

where Whitney puts everyone in their place media/haters. But her voice will be heard, loud &

strong long after the haters are gone!

  • @nosnayack Absolutely. Her music will be heard long after ALL of us are dead and gone. By then, her personal life (warts and all like the rest of us have), will be of no importance: only the gift of her songs. I always saw her as a legend & hated how people tried to strip her of her legacy just because of her vices, like some did Michael Jackson. You just can't unring that bell and forget all that Whitney Houston has brought to the world.

  • I have cried many tears at her loss. I felt a loss. From Arista 25 I went on to fall in love with this great singer. Also became aware of the medias ugliness to her. I felt that she brought so much joy. Inspired people to dance, SAAANG!, fall in love, get thru a lonely night. She was the real thing. But I rooted for her. I recognize she struggled as we all do. We should all be lifting each other when we falter. She deserved to be allowed to be human. Love is DEEP. Hate-nuthin'

    but words,rumors.

  • I too have been sickend by both the media and the haters. Didn't like her for the longest time.

Watched Arista 25 becuz some critic wrote of her almost falling, sweating and erratic. So I watched to see Whitney almost fall. But nobody worked a stage in a gown like her. She was fierce and so beautiful and she SAAANG! She did almost trip but it was a chord and u can see her point it out to the cameramen but so subtle that at first glance it seems like she just

lost her balance. Loved her since.

  • Now that you'll be laid to sleep I praise the Lord your soul to keep. You have passed and will not awake I praise the Lord your soul to take. Amen

You were a beautiful and talented and gifted person. May God help your family and guide Bobby Kristina. My sympathies

  • Hatred is the coward's revenge for being intimidated!!

Love you Whitney You were and still is the best..

  • thank you. you said it well: she shared, she was real, she was beautiful. all the haters are just jealous because their names will not be remembered when they are gone. Thank you Cissy Houston and Dionne Warrick for having such beautiful and god-gifted Whitney Houston

  • @jmusic45 don't trip about these other people that don't talk with their HEARTS. we can't fix them. whitney was real, she was beautiful, she shared, she gave , maybe too much. but LOVE like that can't be shamed. so f$#k them. her songs make me feel loved and I just want to give it back to her. she's in everyone prayers now and with the spirits at peace. cry and bless her. and say a prayer for her family, daughter, mother, brother , and bobby was her only love so he needs prayers too. ?

  • Skip to 1:20 if you're tired of the intro.

  • I don't think noone deserves to die like that if by the hands of a murderer. It crazy what people is saying she deserve. Let the woman die i mean if God wanted her to go that way that's fine nothing we could do to stop that that's true dat, but for people to make it seem like murdering somebody is okay is another thing and that's not right

  • Hands down, the BEST voice of all time!

  • She was a beautiful young woman, what a gift she had.

  • It's sad but it seems when you're one of the best there will ever be the haters try even harder...She will always hold that title of being one of the chosen few BEST vocalist to ever exist in any lifetime....I'll always Love Whitney "LEGEND" Houston R.I.P Eternal Love!

  • Dearest Whitney, it matters not what people say. I just pray that you had time to make peace with God. Cause when people may pull you down, HE holds you up even in your weakest moments. I hope you are there singing for Him....

  • i miss you a lot whitney, especially ur blessing voice..hmm, may god have mercy.,and let ur soul rest in peace.

  • I'm sorry but, african american men don't usually show any support for african american women, and I'm sorry that I didn't know anyone who could have prevented this f'd up Moment in time.

    I'M SORRY WHITNEY.

MAYBE I COULD HAVE WRITTEN A LETTER,

    DONE SOMETHING TO HELP YOU.

    YOUR SPIRIT WAS SOOOOO SPECIAL.

THERE'S SO MUCH YOU HAD TO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR FUTURE.

    PEACE BE WITH YOUR SOUL.

  • @Lswisdom77 ignorant comment

  • She sounded and looked like a dream.

  • She was so beautiful and talented.

  • Rest in peace Whitney. Keep her and her family in your prayers. Especially her daughter.

  • OMG she was so beautiful

  • She was always gorgeous.

  • precious girl

  • She was soo beautiful!

  • 1:21.... you're welcome.... and R.I.P. Whitney Houston.

  • I've been reading some nasty comments online on CNN and other website about Whitney's death, saying she deserved it, Bobby Brown should pay. I'm like wow. So far youTube has been okay. What's with these people? She's dead. No one deserves to die like that. We've all made mistakes, some worse than others. She was trying, but some of us just cut her down regardless. I'm just thinking about her family.

  • @jmusic45 thats the truth judge not........WE will always love you whitney ur the greatest to ever do it they will be no other ....hands down

  • @jmusic45 yeah i agree people are mentally challenged i seen some evil mean comments on you tube also they was calling her a crack head and saying other shit i was like wow so cold heart people,i don't think people have any good thing to say when people die,i think people only praise they self like they perfect, smdh i say these type of people are mentally sick in delusional.

  • I agree with you ....who do people think they are???? Extremely judgemental....those people writing nasty comments haven't walked in her shoes or anybody's shoes but their own....get a soul and a life...and worry about anyone but yourselves....look in the mirror

  • @jmusic45 I agree! She was someone I looked up to growing up. All I feel is sadness. I feel sad for the loss of an icon, I feel sad for her family and I feel sad that we will never get the chance to see her succeed in her come back. Who are they to judge?

    RIP Whitney. God bless you.

  • @jmusic45 dont read that mess it just shows you how degenerative (is that a word?) our society has become and those people are the products of our society...isnt that a scary thought?

  • @jmusic45 Don't let negative people get to you. Some people are never satisfied. I agree with you. Nobody is perfect.

  • @jmusic45 Probably people that are extremely jealous of Whitney! Face it

    Whitney had it all!

    Extreme talent and extreme BEAUTY!

The people babbling probably sing like coyotes and are ugly as hell.

  • @jmusic45 Don't worry, Bill O Reilly and the rest of the useless dumb fucks have been waiting for three decades to be able to say it. They couldn't while she was Queen and reigning at the top.

  • @jmusic45 That a children. They like electric HipHop.

  • @jmusic45 The WORD of God says that He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemy. I can't wait for the toxicology reports to come out and show that she was clear and died of something OTHER than what these crazy people are saying. People are just absolutely MEAN and insensitive.

  • @jmusic45 she and no one else deserves to be ...negativity should be banned from the human race

  • @jmusic45 Some people just can't help but hate on others. It's a crazy world.

  • This song needed more Whitney and Cissy, and less bathtub fart noises. (sorry! LOL) R.I.P. Whitney... you turned every piece of music into gold! You will be so sorely missed.

  • I'm so hurt right Whitney is and always will be the best female vocalist to me.

Luther Vandross is and will always be the best male vocalist to me. My favorite singers are gone but as long as i'm living i will keep singing Luther song and listening to Whitney's Magical voice R.I.P Love always John Meadows Jr.

  • R.I.P. Whitney -- we'll always love you, your voice, your songs, your smile, the feeling you put into every single song you ever sang. Amazing....no one will ever copy or imitate you or be better!

  • love her smile and her voice is so amazing...r.i.p my only queen your songs still remains with us generation to generation

  • last night the sun set in the wintry but clear sky's over London never had i seen such a beautiful sunset with the sun glowing dark red from the bottom to a bright orange at the top and just then you could make out the shape of a aircraft as it flew across the face of the sun. Spectacular something you don't see often if at all in a life time.

I woke the next morning to the devastating news,Whitney was a big part of millions of people, today is a day for reflection a day to look back at history.

  • All of us have our struggles. For dose of us who can reach Heaven, let us pray to God our Father, for help along lives road of ups and downs. Pray that God will rescue us from the strong hold of the devil. Pray for me, as I pray for you all.

  • R.I.P WHITNEY....IM CRYING!!

  • she was so beautiful!

  • I'm still sad... rip Whitney.... we're loosing a lot of entertainers this year

  • RIP 2 THE GREATEST FEMALE LEGEND OF ALL TIME....U R LOVED

  • That's clearly Whitney singing at the backgroung, how cute !

    Thanks for sharing.

  • My Goodness***Is this Whitney Houston Brown***LOL!!

  • Comment removed

  • Beautiful

  • Beautiful Whitney,i am in love with her though i am a girl.

  • Cissy Houston, Whitney's mom was a leading singer in the 70's ( Chart Topping hits) This was Whitney's first song, she also modeled for many magazines then as well. This song was a Disco song sung with her mom, Cissy, it was called, Life's a Party! She was a background vocals, she also had another song called Memories in 1982, when she teamed up with Clive Davis of Arista Records, was when she was on her way!

  • we grew up in the same city so i'm trying to remember this graduation picture

  • I think this is just a bad recording making it sound in the wrong key .. i have this CD .. it's a great song,,.apart the extremely long instrumental .. but, i guess it was just the way dance msuic was back then.

Cissy Houston brought up Whitney very well vocally and she is a legend in her own right... backing vocals for some of the best .. Luther Vandross...Elvis... and her CDs cost sooo much online. Must be doing something right. :P thanks for posting, Stay Blessed.

  • not to knock Cissy as shes great but they should have toned her down a liitle and amped up Whitney.

Crappy song though - Th instrumental is terrible at one point it souinds like something you would hear on a Scifi show .

Even whitneys vocals couldnt save this song!!!

Could you imagine what it would have sounded without her - nobody would have wanted to listen to this song then!!!

  • Oh, and thanks for the upload.

  • Lol at the intro.

  • This is the worse song ever!!!! But I love it because it's Whitney. I agree with mssunshyne.

  • AND SANG CISSY!!!!!!!That ending was off the chart...get it in Cissy love you too for being a strong MOM

  • I don't see how peeps don't know this Whitney!! True fans know this voice anywhere..yes she is younger but the Tone and quality is evident and the clarity is there. And I actually love the melody, its a good feeling...

  • Aretha was far more advanced at 14 vocally speaking.

  • @meatlman99 We were waiting on that info all day! LOL

  • @frsh6272 Now that was too quick....didn't touch a nerve????,,,hehehe

  • cute

  • wow she was so beautiful. She still is. We love Whitney

  • She's lovely. Bless Whitney. I pray the best for this lovely woman and her God given gift...AND her child.

  • she sound's so younge ha

    better then charice pempengco!

  • She's the greatest singer of all time ...

  • it looks like photoshop work... :-)

  • @yotti82 ...I agree with you. The eyebrows technique, and lip coloring says it all.

  • The intro is ENTIRELY too long! lol

  • yes it is ! LOL For a moment I thought it was just instrumental.

  • @hypnotiqdom that's how good music was back then.

  • @hypnotiqdom lol

  • @hypnotiqdom That's because it's disco, and that's how disco club songs went. Obviously before your time.

  • @hypnotiqdom > intro is cute=) as in 70s, 80s it was=)

  • disco could have killed her . thank god she hit the 80s instead of 70s

  • I absolutely love this melody...i bet if whitney did a song(In great voice) and sampled this beat it'll be a hit with todays touch!

  • her daughter looks nothing like her

  • Its a good thing she came after the disco-funk period...lol

  • return of the chimpmunks?

  • @g2a5 LOL! oh shut up!haha!

  • um this is why Clive was needed for Houston. She became a great interpreter when she got older for sure, and a standard. But this recording is not an example of what's to come. So far MJ is the best child star w/ the best voice. I would have thought WH would have been just as good but this production doesn't show it.

  • wow...i always knew about this being her 1st song and everything, but i never actually listened to it till now...not bad for a debut. her voice was already strong, even in her teens. thx for posting this.

  • What the duece!!? But she had a voice even then but the song is a hot mess...

  • Well the pictures are interesting anyway-Lol!!

The song is crazy, but that ain't Whitney's fault..

  • that picture looks so much like her mother...

  • So rare...We are so blessed to witness the legend of Whitney Houston.

  • She is so very pretty!

  • how pretty is she!!!!!! omg...

  • @beyoncerulesify She was a pretty girl....

  • The music in this song reminds me of her new song "Million Dollar Bill" a little bit.

    Thanks whfan007.

  • lol, it does have that feel

  • Have you heard Barbra at 12? Also amazing.

  • SOO PRETTY!!!!!

  • I can tell Jojo white. She got that blue eyed soul goen, but doesnt have that brown skin soul. I can spot her out

  • She has always been Beautiful. Love you Whitney.

  • wtf her hair looks fine

  • Lord Jesus....what is with Black people and hair? what does her being pretty and hair has to do with each other?

  • She was pretty, and she appears to have a very nice texture of hair. Bare in mind that this was before relaxers, too. why the hell does she hide it behind those not-so-flattering wigs now?

  • @dootiehole

What do you mean by "nice texture of hair"?

  • Her hair is pretty! Thats what i mean..don't read too much into it! I just simply meant that her own hair looks better than the hair pieces she wears. I'm not going to get into a "school Daze" good or bad hair debate here. :)

  • "Very nice hair texture" juxtaposed with "bare in mind that this was before RELAXERS", reeks of slave rhetoric - THAT'S WHY I ASKED!

  • they had relaxerz in 1978. OSN watch watz Love GOt YO DO WIth It. Tina Turner went bald wen the chick put it in her hair in 1957

  • "Nippy" is in this recording and so is her mother, Cissy Houston.

  • Awesome; she was very pretty back then just as she is now. I love me some Ms. Houston.

  • And at the end that's Momma Cissy ad libbing the hell out of this song, and also Whitney between 3:11 and 3:18

  • It's something that her daughter is about this age now.

  • I did a disco tv in NY at the time this was recorded,,,in fact a mochael zager produced band called Afro cuban Band (very similar sound to this) Whitney appeared with her Mom Cissy and with Loletta Holoway ,,,If anyone has a clip please post it.

  • the pics get a 10

    the song gets an -10

  • Great Photos, but Whitney Houston's voice is not located in this recording AT ALL!

  • yes it is, for example between 2:19 and 2:39, that's whitney singing remember she was a kid here!!

  • Even as a kid her voice is unmistakable. It took over two minutes into the song to first get to her parts but you can definitely tell it is her, very distinctive voice.

  • @whfan007 she sound so young...LOL

  • @whfan007 Would've been nice if you put the song at the beginning...

  • she looks so cute

  • This disco song is too cute, and Whitney looks so beautiful and dainty in all the pictures.

  • lol wow she look so much like Bobbi Kris at 4:15......whits is a beautiful woman i love her so much and can't wait for her to drop the album (:

  • That picture with Whitney at the festival at the end also included two rising talents, Pat Benatar and Eddie Money.

  • I received her Seventeen cover appearance in the mail today on speculation that it may become collectible if Whitney comesback. This 1981 issue says, "Whitney shows off a vanilla-white dress- latticed in copper metallic yarn for pretty sparkle."

  • Teabag I'm with you. this sounds like some white kids' chours at a 6th grade assembly in the 70's.

  • great, thanks, this is new to me! i first heard her singing backup for cissy at mikell's on 97th & columbus many years ago. please come back whitney!!!

  • why is that the intro was so long..

  • @reignraven it was the 70's...lol

  • @reignraven It's disco. Song were long because people wanted to dance longer.

  • yes it's whitney when she was 15.

  • This is Whitney every whitney fan knows this !! I have this song her mom is also on the recording

  • @theTeabag no, this is whitney. there are certian parts it's whitney! theres several other people too!

  • Lets see now, 1978..., Midnight Express influence?

  • takess years for the singing to come in

  • Or to get there go to Aretha Franklin parts 1 & 2
